it is really annoying when the front page is 80% one model, from 14 different angles. ya, its a sweet model, and awesome paint job, but damn guys. I love seeing all the finished models and the great work people do, but to fill the whole front page up with one model? really?

Some painters post their miniature photos as a montage all in a single image. While these may certainly take up a lot more screen real estate than a single image will, the front page overall will still have the same number of pictures on it. Some pictures are just bigger than others.

Maybe try using the Dakka Gallery if you just want a quick fix of single shots of varied miniatures.
I don't see a problem with someone wanting to showcase a model in THEIR showcase thread/s.

Is it just me or have people forgotten the golden rule of: If you don't have anything nice to say, try saying nothing at all.?
Additionally, it's a showcase forum...perhaps it is YOU that needs to reevaluate your expectations rather than the folks showcasing their work.
