Anyway, yeah, being President prematurely ages you. You pretty much have to live with the fact that half the country will just blindly hate you and everything you do. You'll get blamed for every failure of government, no matter who really is at fault. You'll know and see terrible things you can't tell anybody else. You're the one who gets blamed for not ordering the military into action when the people want it, and when you do, you get blamed for every soldier's death. Being President in this post 9/11 world really just sucks.
Which could be a factor in why our current selection of candidates is less than desirable. No one sane wants the job.
I don't think it's the job that's the issue. I think it's the media rectal exam and character assassination that make up most of the campaign that intimidates people.

It happens to every two-term President. Look at pictures of Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, and Clinton on their initial inauguration and their last days in office. Most of it is because we elect people when they are late middle-age, the greying is just beginning, and skin is only starting to lose elasticity. They leave almost a decade later with full onset of old age. Stress is also a factor.
Yes, you are quite right. A man in his late 30s to early 40s ages pretty rapidly over the next 10 years, then things can stabilise for a while if you do some exercise and so on (says a 54 year old Kilkrazy...)
Plus it is a tough job, as other users have mentioned, and gets a lot of media scrutiny.
As for the candidates wanting the job, I think Hillary has been preparing for this for 30 years, and Trump doesn't look forwards beyond the next 10 seconds. He hinted earlier in the campaign that he would would win then essentially let other people take over the actual daily work of running the presidency.

You're not even addressing what I said. "Bad stuff", not bad, who's subjectivity are we using here? There's a need for everyone to come to grips with the fact that politics is bare knuckles. Holding politicians feet to the fire because they're maneuvering to win? What a waste of time. It's called a campaign for a reason. It's very much like a war and yeah, it's not all rainbows coming out of a unicorn's ass. All this false shock is ridiculous and is so over the border of naïve that it's dangerous. Furthermore to my point, it's not going to mean jack once one of the two candidates is elected. At that point, the campaign is irrelevant and his or her action is all that matters. That possible action, must be viewed from the policies outlined by the candidates as to what they want to see happen and that, at this point, should be the focus.

Well, there isn't exactly a "correct" and "incorrect". Clinton is correct for certain people, and incorrect for others. The election is not just black and white.

So, apparently WikiLeaks is blaming John Kerry for Assange's loss of internet.
Wikileaks said Tuesday that Secretary of State John Kerry asked Ecuador to stop WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, from publishing leaked emails that could disrupt peace negotiations with a guerrilla group in Colombia.
While I don't doubt Kerry would love to shut Assange's mouth, there are just too many things aren't adding up. Unless I really misheard things, the Columbian peace referendum failed before Assange lost his internet. Even had it passed the document dump would have come to late to change anything. Also, how would cutting Assange's internet stop the WikiLeaks organization from doing any further document dumps?

Few people here really support Hillary. This isnt a den of Hillary lovers, though there are a few. Im not one of them. Theres a whole lot that are anti Trump, and, as much as I never thought Id say this, Id take Hillary over my primary alternative.
