It's not just his individual picks for these positions. It's the idea that this motley bunch is going to work together and pull in the same direction, and for a POTUS who'll change his mind 8 times before brunch. The executive branch will be rudderless...just wait and see.

It's not just the Pres though. His cabinet (barring SecDef) is appearing more and more like the who's who of political gakstain jagoffs.

The problem, however, is that there is still a lot of damage that can be done by Trump and Friends. Eventually, all the lawsuits will get started to force the various agencies to actually follow their own laws and regulations. But until then, things could get pretty ugly.

You might have had that realization...but I don't think Trump has yet. He can do a lot of damage before that really sinks in.
And, quite apart from all the harm his cabinet picks are going to cause, there's a lot of prestige and importance attached to being the president, for obvious reasons. There's plenty of ways to leverage that to punish people you don't like. And, unfortunately, if there's one thing Trump is good at, it's wielding power attached to a name.

I actually think this is exactly what is happening. Barring the barnacles that are using him to hire on people paying for positions (I honestly think at least the big business types bought a spot on Trump's opposite day dream team).
I admit I am enjoying the mounting voter regret on my social media. Having mostly Trump supporter friends and family، the lamentations are fueling me.
As of right now، I am predicting that Trump will face a very serious attempt to impeach him at or around his 2nd year as president. Most of his cabinet seems to be line toeing Republicans oand his VP is dyed in the wool Republican. With Republicans owning Congress، it seems to me that Trump is set to have a guillotine hanging over his head that will drop the moment his base gets distracted by the next faux issue.

Eh, I dunno. I think it's giving them too much credit to think that this crew of misfits could engage in any carefully-planned, deliberate evil. Sure, they'll probably knock some stuff off shelves, like some wino stumbling around in a drunken stupor. But mostly they're just going to end up as ineffectual as this cabinet search has been. And Trump will be completely bored and an absentee President no more than 18 months into the job. Watch him start doing the Celebrity Apprentice again to capitalize on his title.
The real damage to the country will be four years of weakness and futility out of our executive branch.

Just wait until the impeachment in two years or when he resigns in a year after realizing being Prez requires actual work.
Alternatively, Pence and Tiller may run things so well he's re-elected in a landslide.

For most of his picks, I'm pleasantly surprised at how accomplished his cabinet positions are... ideologically, you may have issues... but, at least they may have a clue at what to do.

CEO experience doesn't mean gak when talking about government. The main goal is (or should be) severing and protecting the people, the exact opposite of business (where it is profit). And when most of these people are worked all their lives trying to circumvent these protections in the aim of making more profit, it doesn't work out well. That's not to say they aren't accomplished businessmen and woman (minus a Fiorina or two) but that accomplishment is like me putting my 300+ hours playing HOI4 as reasoning to be Defense Secretary.
