Why can't it be both? No one thought Cavalry could be Jet-pack, but Nurgle Plague Drones changed that. Tau have Jet-pack
MCs. Jump
MCs exist.
There is nothing preventing a unit from being
MC-Beast. None of either unit types' rules conflict.
You would simply be adding a 12" move (ignoring terrain) and Fleet to the
MC profile. Both already have MTC.

Because Jump and Jet aren't a type, they're a prefix. Jump and jet adds the jump/jet rules to the unit's existing type, but its still effectively a(n) Infantry/Monstrous Creature/Cavalry model that can choose to forgo using its Jet/Jump rules entirely if it chose to (as it still has the option of walking, for starters)
Beast is a seperate unit type of its own, it can't stop being a beast.
Its the difference between
" Jump Infantry " and "Jump-Infantry."
Monstrous Beast.
Fix'd.
Monstrous Creature-Beast*
Monstrous isn't a prefix. "Monstrous Creature" is the type, monstrous isn't an add-on to other types like Jump or Jet. In these terms, its a single word.
Unless you change how the type system works to something it isn't
atm, you cant mix and match two unit types as you please. Then you can come up with "Jetbike Artillery" and "Flying Monstrous Jet Beasts," and that is simply rediculous.
Nurgle fly-fether things were never an impossibility, the ability was right there in the rules, just no one thought of it until they came out.
If you want to give Trygons a rule letting them move 12" go ahead, but leave the basic type rules alone, they're fine the way they are.
