I approve of the updated thread title . This table is going to be literally perfect for Adeptus Titanicus!!

Latest batch of buildings are looking great, too . I'd love another full table shot at a time that makes sense!

I've played battletech on it with old click minis from Wizkids but the scale is a bit off / feels weird. I also barely own any models. I just ebay'd my net epic Black Templars and Tyranids to prep for AT.

The tiles warped a bit. I need to mount the tiles and paint their edges. I'm also unhappy with how fragile the overpass is, a handful of pieces already broke off and I've barely used it. Going on vacation this weekend as well so a two week break or so. So close yet so far.

Wonderful terrain, really opened my eyes as to the possibilities at this scale.

Wow! That last piece is a great centerpiece! I get kind of "Reichstag" vibes from it

I can get much more detailed honestly - but this projects dragged on for far too long at this point.

Spectacular!

That building is amazing! I actually got more of a Roman forum vibe from it (probably cause I've been reading about Rome for the past 6 months, haha). I can just imagine some feral resistance warlord holding "court" here and leading his tribe in celebrations and/or sacrifices before battle.

Also, please forgive me for a little self-promotion, but your blog has really inspired me over the past month to start my own DZC project. I've been painting all 5 starter armies and am going to be building a table in order to try and generate some local players to try out the game. Your overgrown look is exactly what I am aiming for. While I'm not even close to as good of a painter as you, I would love some tips and feedback from you if you get the chance. The link is in my signature.

Great work once again, and thanks for giving me the inspiration to dive back into the hobby!

I was inspired by another player - and then went down the rabbit hole. My painting isn't all that flashy - but I can just weather/flock really well

Magical.

I can really see myself walking around these buildings with all the senses engaged. They just come to life when you look at them. You mentioned before that you could have included more detail if you'd wanted, I'd love to see that, I can only imagine how engaging that would be. In fact I implore you to do one piece, as a separate project, and just see how far you can push it. If you could document the process, even better, it would be fascinating to see.

Thank you!

The only piece I went all out on is the "memorial" park piece I painted up and some of the graffiti on the overpass - the propaganda poster work takes it to the next level - even though these would rot away in relation to the overgrowth over the years

They definitely crank it up a notch. I bet you could go deeper though!

Few things I could do:

- Paint windows (not just flat black them)
- Better leakage/water damage from the windows. Have more brown inks/trickles of water going down the buildings
- Highlight/edge bricks a bit. Individual bricks on the ground/strewn around
- More variation on vegetation - possibly more dead grass/iron poisoned flora damage
- Posters/Signs/more human signs. Papers/trash covering the floo
- LEDs
- Correct burn damage/black edges

Possible snow day tomorrow - it depends if my work attempts to flush most of the office's PTO and "Close early" at 10 AM like they normally do.

Plan is to either finish off the car wreck area terrain, or paint the UCM

They're completed - just never uploaded

I also have a Broad Sword and two more Bears I attempted to "Camo" paint. We'll see how that works.

Moving next month - just bought a place. Should have pictures in two weeks of the full table with all of my armies on it!!!

Is there a possibility you can take a picture of the collapsed side of that building with the huge, columned courtyard?

Correcting the warping issues on the 5x4 table itself due to being in a slightly humid laundry room in my last house

Attempting to use hardboard or another material to back the board tomorrow to remove the warp. No real plan, but I'm doing it tomorrow

That is an amazing table - the detail added to the scatter-terrain and the structures, the look of everything when assembled is spectacular.

The ruined overpass is the cherry on top of this ragged, ruined, beautiful cake.

Bravo.

Thank you Scott

I still have to finish the cars and the lamp posts - they will cement the look of the scatter terrain/streets. The park and the admin looking pillar building are still my favorite pieces.
