Hello!

Here is the latest painting from me! A death korps of krieg squad. Really fun models to paint, since they´ve a lot of details and character.
I decided to go for a clean paint job on these, since i imagined they are a fresh batch off from the space ship. My other squads with running and firing poses while look a little bit more dirty, since they´ve been in combat for a while.
This is the first squad in my army, and right now im working on my command squad.

Nice. I always like the idea of grouping my squads by what they are doing - this squad is in a firing line, this one is crouching in cover, etc. Seems more realistic and easier to keep track of who is in which squad.

Are you using an air brush? Great blending

Hi!

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the comment!

These are painted with only a brush. However, i always use a glaze once i´ve finished highlighting, since i really think this is a great techniqueto bring all the Colors togheter.

Really great looking Dkok, i dig them alot!

Great job! Very nice choice of colours and the execution is very crisp and clean. I'm also jealous that you managed to get hold of an "at ease" squad!

goaty stuff gets blogged here http://goatmajor.org.uk/ and tweeted here @goatmajor

Very nice, couple of suggestions though:

1. Put a backdrop behind the miniatures (even a couple of sheets of white A4 paper would do) to give a better photograph
2. Maybe add some mud spatter or dust along the bottoms of the coats, the bases and boots are super muddy but theres no spatter on the jackets.

Love dkok though, such great models.
