Its an old catalog from the start of the year, if you'll notice the Legiones Astartes Army list is listed as the Crusade Army List, not the Age of Darkness Army list.

I was about to say they don't update that booklet very often, but I just checked mine, and it has the Storm Bird and MArs Landing pad the page after the Repressor.

Also, the exchange rate is terrible in it. It's still pegged at 1.65 USD to the GBP, when right now it is an amazingly low $1.24ish to the pound.

The printed FW catalogue has always had something odd about it, in that it presents you with models they've retired during the year and which are no longer available. They tell you that in small letters on one of the back pages.

To me, that honestly makes the catalogue a bit pointless, because in 2016 you should expect to be able to purchase anything and everything from the 2016 catalogue! That's how every other printed retail catalogue works, isn't it? If IKEA puts the "Uddevalla" table lamp in their catalogue, that means that until the end of that year, anywhere in the world you can buy a limitless number of that table lamp, even if this forces them to produce more of them.

FW aren't antiquarians or art dealers, dealing in rare, unique items, that can't be reproduced. Reproduction is precisely one of the things they're doing in the first place, you might even say it's in their name(!).

The other oddity with the 2016 catalogue are the number of items that weren't released until much later in the year, such as the landing pad. While stuff that was released earlier, isn't listed. I'm guessing this is mostly due to a planned release schedule, which doesn't take into consideration when the models were conceived and sculpted.

I've never seen the FW terrain models in person, but from what I've read they're made from a different material than the resin used in their other models, so it's not unlikely that it's a longer process to make the terrain models available for purchase.

I belive that the repressor was removed from the last few catalogs. While I know the SoB players get teased about "all 4 of us" there has been semi-credible rumors (most recently hopefully not troll comment from WarhammerTV) about plastic SoB, I hear rumor-mill of around Feburary. That would fit with their comment of "months" till their release. While it may have been a troll comment, it was in the last 2 seconds of the clip, where many people I know would have already turned it off. Teaser at the end of the credits kinda thing.

Lets pretend for the sake of argument that these rumors are true (ie no trolling or arguing that it might not be). If SoB are getting a new release, wouldn't it make sence for FW to bring back a desired SoB vehicle?

Iirc it's been reported by those attending various FW events that the repressor will be re-issued, but the FW staff couldn't put an exact date on it.

Could they be turning it into a plastic kit to go with the possible plastic sisters?

I don't think they use an exchange rate to determine the USD prices in their catalog. That's just the set prices they use when they sell at events.
