Hi, I have been playing with a friend army and have finally decided to get my own, I have decided to go for an old dreadnought metal army, Iron Hands.
but I do have a question, is there any other vehicles they made in Metal other then the Thunderhawk, Thunderfire cannon, and Landspeeders? I dont see any other imperial, predators or Rhinos in all Metal and doubt they ever made them.
Thanks for the help.

Old Predators had metal turrets on plastic chassis.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Actually only the intermediate Predators had metal turrets --- the older RT era plastics did not. The late 90's modification to the Predator released metal turrets for both the standard and the annihilator version I believe. A lot of tank kits had metal bits as well (I think the original hellhound had a metal heavy flamer nozzle etc.).

the original hell hound had a metal flamer bit, but also a plate that made the chimera's turret taller, and two fairly large tanks that plugged into the lasgun ports (which was pretty creative, when you think about it!). the original demolisher had a few metal plates and bits as well, along with the actual demolisher cannon and mantlet.
The winner for most metal in a hybrid model is probably the original Vindicator, which had metal plates over the front, rear, both sides, and top of a rhino!
Compare this:
To these:
that's 'eavy metal!

The most metal I can think of in any current vehicle is the Exorcist; metal organ, metal crew pit, and metal external plating.

Thanks all for the help, I guess ill be going for a metal hybrid vendicator then, 3 of them to do a large area bomb bardment, does anyone know how to tell which are the old ones with metal?
I dont think Imperials Iron Hand can use the exorcist tank?

You can really clearly tell which Vindicators are the old ones made with metal and which are the modern ones, which are all plastic (or in some rare cases, the old Forgeworld resin conversion kit)
Here's an old one:
And here's the modern, all plastic one:

The amount of metal in the old Fire Prism is kinda crazy. Huge metal bit there, totally unbalances the entire model.

No, Iron Hands would have to take Sisters as allies to use the Exorcist. Your call on whether or not that's worth it, but Sisters are easily the most metal army right now
