In response to your earlier post, I wish you and your family well, and I hope it works out for you in the USA, but given what's going on in Europe right now with Brexit, migrant crisis, and far-right parties gaining in Germany, Germany might not be an attractive option anymore.
Don't get me wrong, It's a wonderful place, and I've been a few times, but I'm not sure I could live on the continent at this time....

Thanks.
I don't see us leaving the US anytime soon, if ever. I just wanted to share my thoughts as someone who could fill the shoes of a "emigrating because of Trump" person even if it is because he could be a symbol of the underlying problems that I am concerned about.

It’s easy to pick up a little bit. For example, anyone in upstate New York knows that “Je Me Souviens” means “I drive like a maniac”.
Nice of the Canadian DMV (or whatever they call it up there) to put warning labels on things.

I wonder why that is...
Beans at breakfast, that is why. No one should endure such horror.
Nothing wrong with beans at breakfast. Along with some eggs, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, spaghetti, black pudding and some brown sauce. It's the best way to start the day.

Beans are for lunch or dinner, but ONLY if they are baked beans to go with BBQ or refried beans to go with a Mexican dish.
You're limited to those 2 choices. Period.

Beans are for every meal of the day. That's why they come in packs of 4. One for breakfast, one for lunch and one for dinner. With the fourth to be eaten as a snack throughout the day.

So, not that this is a surprise to anyone, apparently Amy Schumer was "just kidding".
“First of all the interview where I said I would move was in London and was said in jest. Not that anyone needs more than a headline to count something as official news,” she began her long rant, referencing her comment in September that she was planning to move to Spain should Trump, 70, win the election. “Anyone saying pack your bags is just as disgusting as anyone who voted for this racist homophobic openly disrespectful woman abuser.”

It is what it is. I don't really care for Melissa McCarthy but others love her. I suppose there are music fans that scratch their head over the hate that Nickleback receives.
I found an article about Whoopie Goldberg denying she ever made any comment about leaving. I'll let someone else scour YouTube to see if she did or didn't.
The one that actually disappoints me is Miley Cyrus. Apparently she's made a tear-filled video about it, including a plea to Trump to let her open his mind. Wow. What sane person would actually allow Miley Cyrus to "open their mind"? o.O
As for similar threats back in 2000, I found this on Snopes.
In fact, the only person who has made good on his promise is Pierre Salinger, former press secretary to President Kennedy, who is moving to France.
I expect it may well be the same this time.
As for celebrities who didn't threaten to leave, I expect Alec Baldwin to come out on top (he's playing Trump on SNL). That's a guaranteed paycheck for the next four years.

She pulled a Carlos Mencia, stole all her jokes, and somehow got famous off it. Oh, and basically bragged/joked about raping a guy, so that's cool.
If a guy had done that, it'd be a gakshow.

Checked out the Buzzfeed article about it. Six jokes is hardly "all", but that's not really the point. Jury's out but yeah, it looks bad.

Yeah? I'd like to hear Matt's take on it.. I've been in Matt's position many times, it sure as feth wasn't rape.

Agreed. Comedy's so hard and fickle, it's tough to prove she "stole" anything.

It comes down to "is drunk sex rape?" Enough women have accused men of the same actions that either it's all rape or none of it's rape.

I suspect most of them that wanted to "flee" were "just kidding". In fact, I was looking for them to retract. Hollyweird celebrities are the modern equivalent of Medieval court jesters, with all the drama and nonsense that comes from living in a fantasy world like Tinsel Town.
It's also true that celebrities that are past their prime will make a fuss over something just to stay relevant. And a lot of them on the "I HAET DRUMPF. IMA TAKE MAH TOYZ AND AND GO WIV WIT GRANDMA. NAH, NAH!" list are past their prime, and are largely irrelevant. Even some of the celebs on the "Run List" that still have something of a "career" can't be taken seriously by anyone with half a brain (i.e. Miley Cyrus).
