I know this has probably been done before, but in your eyes who would you say are the 3 best overall fighters?

You mean without Chaos gods or daemonic swords right?

Horus with the gods cheering him on took out Sanguinius pretty easily then basically killed the Emperor.

Fulgrim is the only other Primarch to kill a Primarch, and he has done it twice.

Angron is a supreme 1 on 1 fighter, made only more so by becoming a daemon prince.

I would say Horus, Angron, and Sanguinius is no particular order. Runner ups would be Russ, Fulgrim, and probably the Lion

Fulgrim, the Khan and Sanguinius were apparently the best swordsmen of all the Primarchs according to the book the First Heretic. Angron and Russ were too savage to be good duelist, but were brutal fighters. The Lion and Horus were the most well rounded ones

Horus was that good of a fighter?

didn't he have a stalemate with a Constantine Valdor a custodian?

or I least I thought (not trying to hate on Horus, but i didn't know he was seen as a top tier fighter amongst the primarchs)

Horus was among the best of just about everything before the dark gods powered him up. It is kind of boring to read about him, because he was so good.

I will jump on the Horus, Angron and Sanguinos band wagon here.

Horus blessed by the Chaos gods was just overwhelmingly powerful and no other primarch would have stood a chance.

Now picking between Angron and Sanguinis is a bit harder, but I would give it to Sangy. He had skill where Angron had strength and Intelligence were Angron had mindlessness.

A small tidbit but if you really want to remove everything, Angron technically had the Butcher's Nails, which basically locked his mind into a berserker state.

However I don't know if that should count, since he couldn't remove them without killing himself and basically had them since forever.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Isn't it said that Vulkan held back against the other primarchs in sparring sessions?
