I'm going to try and get in and be constructive before the inevitable boob-armour derailment hits.
You're off to a good start and you've got most of the key components; I'd suggest making the main casing of the bolter bigger and the clip smaller or less curved. I'd also suggest trying to distinguish the shoulder pads from the upper torso, it looks a little awkward with the straight bar across the top and the second shoulder pad sticking down beneath.
I look forward to seeing more of this as it develops.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into those suggestions. Separate shoulder pieces so I can get better poses would be nice. I have not been able to get the shape of the shoulder pads quite right I admit.
BTW, Sisters of Battle are supposed to have boob armor, anyone who complains would be like someone complaining about a Space Marine having huge shoulder pads.

Just don't say I didn't warn you when the firestorm begins.

Ok, better shoulder pads I believe.

I like this a lot. The only thing I would say is the shoulder pads are a touch too long. I'd shorten them by about a fifth. a good place think would be just under the "I" of the inquisition symbol. Maybe just leaving a small gap between it and the end of the pad.

Pretty nice work! I just feel the grip of the bolter is a bit too flat, looks like it would juste slide from your hand.

The bolter's key problem is no actual visible/defined magazine well, it's just put there, including intruding into the foregrip.

The finished model:
I am going to have it printed out next and I will paint it. I am looking into a selfleveling coating to make the surface smooth. I will have to distress the ruins manually.

Looks good, but wouldn't it have been easier to do the ruins as separate pieces? Or is the whole thing being done as separate pieces which you will assemble afterwards? I don't know much about 3d printing (other than the tiny bit that we touched on in my Manufacturing Methods class in college).

I don't know if it is easier, I don't think so. Also the ruins are structural and I would rather they be one piece.

Broke it into 5 pieces so it will be easier to print in a coworker's printer. He is starting on it this weekend

I suppose it's a bit late now...but in the future, torso armour should never end in a point at the bottom. At some point during her life, the Sister is going to have to sit in a Rhino without gutting herself or rupturing her femoral arteries.

That is part of the reason I decided to make it a knight. Inhuman anatomy is the order of the day with a robot. Automatically Appended Next Post:
