I see that being my big 2017 buy.

Was just thinking about my holiday "vacation" next week. Will spend Christmas with the in-laws (that's actually fine... but it means driving & such), two days afterwards with my family & then four days after that I'll be entertaining my friend and his gf at the house. The only day I'll really get to relax and do anything will be Monday, Jan 2nd.

Now... I don't *mind* any of those activities... but taken in total I think I'll probably just stay in bed on the 2nd...

OK.. Wardens.. and you know who you are. If you don't have an Imperial Knight and want to reserve a particular load out. speak up. I have 4 additional Knights, only 2 have all the options open to them , First come First serve. The remaining 2 can be only fielded with thermal or battle cannon. I also have only 2 AA auto cannon and missile launchers as well.

Also I'll have data sheets available at the game for those who need them.

Hey SL. Looking forward to the Knight Fight, it's shaping up to be quite the romp.

As per Gits request on army info, I will be bringing ~2500 pts of Sisters and the Knight Paladin.
Optionally, I have ~2000 pts of 40K Wordbearers (mostly primed)

Saturday Night is ' Knight fight' go back and review the planned rules. Also if you don't have a Knight of your own and want a particular load out speak up. First come first serve. And no I don't have a knight Porphyrion .. yet!

None of my knights have carapace weapons. Gotta fix that later. Not this go around.

Of the 4 knights I have. All have the Melta, Cannon option.
2 have Avenger cannon. Same 2 have the powerfist option. I have 2 Carapace ML and to AA loadouts that will fit any. I'll have to get 2 more of each.

In a pinch we can proxy.

I'll be bringing the Atropos Knight and a min-sized Tech-priest Auxillia unit to try to keep it ticking a little longer

There should be plenty of knights to choose from.

As of now there is 6 person teams. The only if right now is Yellowbeard. I haven't heard much from him, but he was planning to go way back. If we lose YB then we can do 5 man teams and I'll GM the game. Or we can find someone to join in.

I will bring copies of the codex pages for those who don't have the book.

I would like to play this multiple times to playtest the concept. I was considering running at next years Adepticon if enjoyable. I might run several tables at a time as there seems to be a shortage of events. Might be looking for help.

For our event there will be prizes. Though I cannot legally or morally reproduce the naked Nerdfest picture for you as a prize I'll make some attempt to make it relevant ( to the knight fight).

BTW my badge and hotel purchases have been completed. I have begun taking inventory of terrain for our game. I am very excited. I think I will attempt to bring the river, assuming I have a good way to transport it. The pieces are a bit awkward.

About one month to go .. Start putting together your lists.

Hey guys, I don't think there's any possibility of my having a Heresy list together by Adpeticon. I don't even have the basic rule book for the army lists... so I have no idea what I'm supposed to be building.

I'm going with the "bring a bunch of 30k crap and hope someone tells me what to do with it" technique.

Well, my issue is that I only have 500 points painted... and it's not even a legal army (by normal standards). I could probably pile up some points quickly by a basic paint job on a variety of vehicles... but I need 2 troops and I don't have the time to paint a ton of infantry. Unfortunately without the rule book I don't even have a shot at figuring out if I can squeeze something in or not.
