Hell, I feel like I may as well have waited for this sale. I ordered a pair of Army Painter rattlecans last weekend because I needed them to do a couple of projects this weekend. Figured, what the hell, I would throw on a Reaper figure that I had always meant to get. Everything was listed as in stock to "ship in one day", so I figured a order on Sunday might get here for the weekend.

Then the next day the frigging 4 dollar figure is suddenly out of stock on my order, and listed as "will ship in 4-5 business days". So nothing gets shipped this week, then likely will get screwed by being lumped in with the busy Black Friday Processing, AND I probably get to wait just as long as all the Black Friday orders with none of the Black Friday benefits/offers.

Damn my luck as usual. It's like the time my MM "free shipping" order took a full week to process and then over a week to ship.

I see some Mantic stuff worth getting from them, but $20 for the original elf regiment box? Do they think their customers have head trauma?

Over all very disappointing. Out of stock weeks before this on anything I had a interest in. A blanket extra 5% is nice I guess.

The whole daughter thing is fairly creepy.

MM's sale was also pretty crap, but atleast they had a previous "Bigger then blackfriday" sale a few months back so my expectations were already quite low.

First Black Friday I haven't bought any wargaming stuff. Warstore and MM sales are both crap. It's like "clearance bin +" rather than offering any actual deals on desirable items.

I like the War Store, I've been ordering from them for more than 10 years but my last few orders have has stuff back ordered, even when it was listed in stock.

Seems to take forever to ship too.

Not a problem for me sitting on a mountain of unpainted crap in New Delhi but something to keep in mind.

Agreed.

I was actually at the Miniaturemarket store about an hour after the sale started. I was the only one there. In past years they have been cramped 20 or so people in store while the sale goes on. I was on my iPad looking at all the goods.....and left empty handed. One a few good deals, but they went fast (blood rage), and I already had it from Kickstarter but have kept an eye out to build up a KOW army with them.

The things I've been eyeballing are still 20+ in stock and have been around for years. I even joked with the cashier about how it doesn't feel like Black Friday without Sedition Wars .

There's a few items I might grab, but there's more kickstarters out that are looking good than items in either shop.

The MM Bigger than Black Friday months ago was awesome. I bought into Star Wars Armada at over 200 dollars worth of stuff for 110. Was hoping for some larger than normal Black Friday discounts from either MM or the Warstore for some more Armada stuff, but right now Amazon has better prices and with Prime shipping, as well. Will be getting an Imperial Star Destroyer today for 29 dollars.

The free Wyrd miniature seems promising. I hope they don't just give me a single rat.
