I wonder if the Sisters of Battle rumours were just bollocks after all. Oh well, new Dark Eldar should be good. They haven't had any love for ages.

I'd say Dark Elves-Aelves-whatever

In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Shadowkin are the only "new" type of Dark Elves we're going to see. From what we know of them, they're led by Malerion, they dwell within the Realm of Shadow, and the Saih Mistweaver and
Tenebral Shard are examples of their aesthetic and what we can expect from them.

The original Dark Elves became "Exiles" initially with the PDF Warscrolls, which further got subdivided into the following subfactions in the Grand Alliance Order book:
-Darkling Covens(Warriors of all types, Sorceresses, Executioners, and Black Guard)
-Daughters of Khaine(Cauldron of Blood and Bloodwrack Shrine, Witch Aelves, Sisters of Slaughter, and Doomfire Warlocks)
-Order Serpentis(War Hydra, Drakespawn Chariots[Cold Ones' new name], Drakespawn Knights, and Dreadlord on Black Dragon)
-Scourge Privateers(Corsairs, Fleetmasters, Kharibdyss, Scourgerunner Chariot)
-Shadowblades(Assassins and Dark Riders)

Scrz from thedarkcity might have cracked the case on the DE model. He looked back at these old rumors. More and more of these are coming true. I remember being ridiculoud quite a lot when I mentioned this rumor back then. Not to mention no one beleived me Eldard was coming, but that's a bygone. http://natfka.blogspot.ca/2016/07/40k-8th-edition-campaigns-exciting-look.html?m=1

As posted by Scrz.

Scrz wrote:According to an old rumor that has had a lot of correct info so far Volossian Sythrac of the Black Heart is Dark Eldars next new centerpiece model.

Whoever wrote the Dark eldar codex wrote:Archon Volossian Sythrac prized possessions are his collection of soul traps - vile devices that act much like the spirit stones of the Craftworld Eldar, though in a far more hideous and predatory way. The act of parting a soul from its mortal body is child’s play to Sythrac. A single scratch from his ancient huskblade will turn his victims to dust in seconds. The disembodied soul, torn so quickly from its physical vessel, is then easy prey for the spirit vortex of Sythrac’s rapacious soul trap. Once a soul is claimed within for all eternity, its captive energies harnessed to energise Volossian Sythrac’s ancient body.

(Emphasis is mine).

That could explain the gems, and the strange vortex like thing in the previous rumor image.
I don't think the staff is DE related. Not enough knives attached to it.
The grit of the sand on the base under the cape/cloth looks like it is a smaller base in a really close up photo. The brush strokes on the model indicates the same. That the cloth looks like it is close to the ground could be a compression effect from the picture being taken with high focal length. Which means that the cloth does not have to be that close to he decking either. For instance it appears to have the same color but is not highlighted in the same way as the cloth , which is odd if it is directly connected. Then again, the small creases in the top and bottom left side, makes it look like the cloth is steeply angled upwards right there which in turn might mean that it IS something that is dragged along the ground like a cape.
Oh how I love to over analyze things...

So far they've got as much wrong as they've been getting right, so I still don't put much stock in it.

Can anyone explain to me how these are rumours? If anything these are teasers. So how is it a rumour? I don't get it.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

So, looking at this video we can (finally) resolve the second Image... Tzeentchian disc rider for AoS...

EDIT: Checking once more the arm with keys belongs to an Admech Magos and the swirly staff is Tzeentchian as well... So three out of currently four resolved.

Hmm... wondering if I should create a new spoiler tag for solved images, or just use red "solved!" text (which I'm using right now as a provisional measure)

The last has to be Sythrac the gems fit his DE evilness. He steals/creates soul gems and stores the souls of those he kills in them to power certain technology.

Not to mention it has the raider grate insignia on it and images leaked of a DE boardgame of some sort. At this point anyone who bets it is not a DE model is going to be the kid who eats glue in class.

Looking at the Magos mini, the first leak might actually be a close-up of the "hump" on his back.

Uh...holy gak? This 'Gathering Storm' stuff is starting to make me salivate.

There's so little information...but the last two-three seconds of the 2016 review made me cheer.

Edit: I figured this was the thread to make this post in...if someone else has already linked the information...feel free to flame me in the ensuing comments.

No. You're looking for the "Games Workshop - Plastic Sisters and other White Dwarf leaks' thread where this is all being discussed.
