I'm really hurting for a good Manticore. The Chaos one is so ugly it hurts and the Mierce one is way too big. Even decently sized bat wings are not that easy to get, let alone a lion that has a fitting size for them *and* a rider.
Remember the old one that fit a big square base, had a sorceror ridingt it and had a mouth so full of teeth it could hardly close it? That was one of the first Warhammer monsters I saw and I never found one in one of the few stores that carried GW stuff. Sigh. And I never bought a Necrosphinx to convert one, either. I just want a squat quadruped scorpion-lion-bat monster that doesn't look like total gak, is that too much to ask?
Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

So you want to be an eight-foot tall, muscle-bound, ebon warrior now?
Where do you get that he is eight feet tall? He's shorter than the Chieftain (who is in turn smaller than the Bloodbound heroes) and significantly shorter than the Knight Questor.

That he is:
a) bigger than a space marine and
b) he's described as being extremely tall in the novel (also being first one to die... spoilers I guess but c'mon he was the black guy, of course he's going to be the first to kick the bucket)

Eh, even Cadians are taller than Space Marines it seems. GW isn't exactly consistent with scale. I was curious as I keep seeing this fact mentioned. He really doesn't seem that tall when compared to other models. He's somewhere between the height of a GSC Neophyte and a Chaos Warrior.

In the novel he's quite tall. Still, the exact height is unknown.

Have you seen the Raging Heroes manticore?

The weapon in the image looks like a pistol version of those crossbolters the Judicators use, not sure about the beastie it's strapped to. Demigryph maybe?

Oh yeah on facebook someone did an image cut and compared them to see what I was clearly talking about. Tzeentch corrupting people via cults and cults rising across all the cities manipulating everyone? Sigmar would not send the stormcasts that's not their forte.

I'd personally rather see the duardin or aelves before more humans...humans in general...mutated/chaos or not, superhuman or not...i'd rather see something else next. I still haven't bought into age of sigmar yet, it just doesn't feel developed enough to capture my imagination yet. There's a good chance i'll never be able to let go of the old world, maybe that why I jumped on Blood Bowl so quick.

You know, has the Devoted of Sigmar faction been stated to be exclusively human? It could be an elf or something that's part of the faction.

There's no rule that says I can't.

It's a human faction it's made up of all the religious zealots of sigmar witch hunters, flagellants, warrior priests and the war altar of sigmar. In the grand alliance tome their job is to make such faith in sigmar remains strong after the stormcast leave to do other things and handle the general cleansing and to well stop chaos cults.
Also tzeentch is causing cults to rise well everywhere. A common mistake is people still think they are part of the "free people" or free guild faction they have been separated into two armies. Now of course GW could pull a fast one on us but I do believe that the rumor image is sigmarite.

That's beautiful little sculpt, whatever it belongs to. I may seek one out as an alternate mascot sculpt for my Guild Ball Hunters, never been totally happy with the sculpt or the paint job I've done on mine.

In the end of fall of cadia there are a bunch of eldar people. Their names are in the dramatis personae page floating around in the sisters rumor thread.
This seems related to the Eldar in question probably getting a model for the next book. Also this gives credence to the Dark Eldar robes theory and a possible Eldar Triumvirate. The Eldar Shadowseer + Grynx, some Dark Eldar model, and the corsair/exodite/some type of eldar cool dude they leaked that shows us the guy from the leaked webway gate cadia picture who towers over all the other eldar.
People were arguing if his cloak was a razorwing.

So if it's accompanying a psyker...why such a large base? Perhaps a Seer riding an Exodite dragon? Seems like a comically large base if they're just going to put a single Eldar mini on there.
