No, it's just an educated guess, I think. It could be a codex supplement that puts Sliscus etc back in.

The image dose not mention codex or codex suplement. So people take this as meaning it's some sort of box game. TBH I would hazard a guess it's a repack of existing models with a set of board game rules. Thing knight renagade or the flier games.

That would be a great way of adding various xeno mercenary kits, damn that would be sweet, I will have to go over that WD again, must have missed that part.

Why does everyone care about how they portray female soldiers - in a fantasy world set millions of years into the future - this isn't some comment on modern day society. Yes. You're right. Totally forgot about that webstore model. I would like them to expand slightly with some plastic minis. If this is a boxed game it'd make a good opportunity.

Fall of Cadia releases.
Tzeent AoS stuff.
bolter-sisters (hopefully a multi use plastic kit for bolters/special/heavy weapons)
steam dwarves AoS stuff.
So maybe march/april for plastic sisters, but it looks like we are to get our releases in drips and drabs
Although I hear that 8th is to be around that time too. I can't say anything for the actual rule set, aparantly it brings a new game type. There'll be the current Unbound and the current battle-forged, but also a new tournament style format that's easier to pick up and play (it sounds contradictory to me). Something that does away with formations and the general bloat of stacking special rules upon special rules but should make it easier to balance.
As i said before though, i've got no idea of the accuracy of any of this.
Source or is this from you?
Looks to be an educated guess based on leaks we've seen. I'd say the order is pretty accurate, but the timetable is likely off. I'm thinking Fall of Cadia will be one week and then we'll head into Tzeentch. I would expect plastic sister by late February if that list is at all accurate.
Sounds about right to me
Wk 1-Fall of cadia plus 3 character models
Wk 2- AoS tzetch book and mini's
Wk 3-Dark eldar box game and army paint sets
Wk 4 (to be February white dwarf) -random wishlisting for sisters of battle plastic
Tzeentch is a multi-week release. I guess January is 1 week Cadia and 3 weeks Tzeentch.
The Eldar game could be further off, we had a preview of Gorechosen in the WD a month before release.
The time for the timetable is speculation on my part.
The source for the order is Atia.
The source for 8th is a 'friend of a friend'.
What I will say is that FLGS have already got emails about what items are available to pre order for January and February (and possibly March). I've personally managed to get a glance at Jan and feb from a few feet distance. I can't say what's on the lists other than a vague chaos stuff in January, but can say they are both pretty full on months, atleast a dozen items each.
I can't find anywhere that Atia has specifically mentioned "Bolter Sisters" can you clarify please?

Maybe it's the same reason why guys play females in Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind and how those characters wear skimpy armour in battle as well?

Ugh, why am I doing this to myself.
Well, you do realize that most medieval plate was only 1.5 to 3mm thick? Not cm, mm. So if it was made to completely fit the wearer's body over some sort of body glove mesh of bundles to carry this sci-fi hyper dense material then it would be pretty much skin tight. If you accept that 40k is fantasy in space then the plate armor would reflect how thick medieval plate is. The reasons its so thin is because of weight and being any bigger would restrict movement. Space Marines look so huge because that's all man; its not the armour.
I mean even the armour on an M1 Abrams tank is 4.7 inches or 120mm. People seem to conjure this mental image that 40k power armor is like walking tank armor, but even that is a lot smaller than people realize. This is because whats important is the material its made out of. Chobram armour is better than cast iron, but an M1 probably doesn't have thicker armor than a WW1 tank; despite being exponentially more resistant to damage. So it stands to reason that whatever they make 40k suits out of is better than medieval plate but the same proportions for avoiding impairing the wearers movements.
Also she is not fat!

There's been threads around, they eventually get locked down by a mod. I really wish they wouldn't, though - so we could keep regular threads free of this stuff and just point people that want to argue about whether or not a miniature is sexist / too fat / too skinny / too genderbinary / not inclusive enough. BTW I haven't heard anyone giving a shoutout to GW for their super-inclusive Iron Hands upgrade sprues, why's that? I'm pretty sure the world is a much better place since they released that kit - for more details see effect of miniatures on the real world.

I'm pretty sure it's constantly explained how a semi-naked pinup of a woman is not the same as a semi-naked male juicer. They're both male fantasies. One is the woman as an object of male desire, and the other is the object of male power fantasy.

Stop arguing in this thread about pointless nonsense. None of your are objectively correct, it's the opinion regarding a piece of plastic. Those of you making fun of other people are no better than the others.
This thread is about rumors. Not mocking eachother over who thinks who is more right about man dolls or who thinks who is the better activist.

Only because of Societal norms. If people don't see a topless woman as an object of desire but of strength then it would have a different meaning to said people.
It also depends on the content of the image or what have you.

My apologies, I was not clear; I generally love infinity sculpts. But there are female models in the same units not represented with the same pose or tone of the other models. I find that kind of thing absolutely not outrageous, but a bit immersion breaking and off-putting. But maybe this needs another thread.
