All humour aside, Trazyn's involvement really is exciting IMO. Who or what could he be potentially be offering from his vaults to help the Imperium? Not to mention either things are so end of everything bad that he's willing to help out of self preservation, or he's gonna want some form of compensation. Plus the potential for a new model is always nice.

I'm really hoping for a new Trayzn model. Prehaps he will receive a new body out of the results of the story and thus a new model with new rules. I want a reason to pick back up my Necrons.

I will say whatever happens, Trayzn will give the Imperium a pyrrhic victory and it will be played to humorous effect. He is the Necrons bionic trickster and deals with him never play wholly out they way they were supposed to.

Assumption is that it's a board game.

If true I kind of expect something like Necromunda, Gorkamorka or the like: build a gang, fight other gangs, assert dominance and develop an S&M fetish.

It's not in that white dwarf apparently, just a 'coming soon' advert.

With current WD releases expect to see just the 1st snippets of each months releases (first 2 weeks) so last 2 weeks of month remain shrouded in mistery

Not sure if something screwed up when I click on "new post". Sometimes it seems I miss a lot and not sure if this is the case here or not. How come all of a sudden Tryzan (spelling) is being mentioned?

I never seen it mentioned but people are talking about it like it's old news. What page number was this first mentioned on so I can go back and reread the thread. I am a bit lost right now about Tryzan or is it Necrons being introduced.

Well here's the thought I had when it comes to that...

What if Dorn's hand was left behind because of a meeting with Imotekh? His calling card is maiming an opponent. Perhaps Dorn's forces did barely squeak by in their fight against the forces of Chaos, only to stumble into a surprise Necron force shortly after.

Could he have beaten Dorn (somehow, not sure how Imotekh would match up to a Primarch), then traded his body for Trazyn's loyalty? It wouldn't be the first retcon (hell, they could even just make that the 'official story' of the Imperial Propaganda Machine[TM]).

All I can say is, if it is Dorn after all... I will buy, well maybe not a bunch, but at least one. Even if I can't officially use them with my Crimson Fists.

Less "LULZ" and more ON TOPIC please...

Humorous speculation at what Trayzn might be offering. It is well within Trayzn's established character to offer gifts with a twist like djinns in legend. In fact Trayzn in fluff plays his twisted gifts to comedic effect and we have nothing to say that he won't again, even in the super cereal Fall of Cadia.

Humorous speculation is On Topic when considering Trayzn specifically.

I'm pretty sure that "humorous" speculation was what attracted the wending in the first place, I'll light the mod beacon and see who's right.

Reddit user /u/Sanguinius posted this in the Warhammer subreddit

Well, I was having beers with my GW source the other night and the topic got onto the Fall of Cadia and the coming story arcs and releases. He claims to know out to mid-2017 what is going to happen, but obviously needs to remain tight lipped. I did get the following tidbits though:

Outside of Celestine and her Geminii bodyguards, there are no plans in the next 5 months for any SoB boxes/kits.

The first loyal Primarch to 'wake up' will be Roboute, and not Russ/Lion/Vulkan as many predict. Blankets will be counted! Spirits will be lieged!

Trayzn is likely going to be releasing a 'Salamander' from prison. With a twinkle in his eye he quoted: 'It might not be Vulkan though.'

In regards to the Triumvirate of the Imperium on Cadia, there will be others. Think of an Eldar team containing an Eldar/Dark Eldar combo, with the Exodites thrown in.

That's all he could say. Discuss away. He's a very good source who gave me the Imp Agents + Traitor Legion info a few weeks back, so I have very good confidence that his info is legit.

Edit: A lot of speculation in the last few hours is leaning towards Dorn being woken in Trazyn's collection noting the presence of Imp Fists and Black Templars. This is purely speculation, but has anyone thought of Sigismund? The lore says that Sigismund went hunting for Abaddon after the Battle for Terra and was never see again....this is purely speculation on my behalf, but it would certainly tie-in the choice of the Black Templars/Imp Fist matchup on Cadia, wouldn't it?

Clearly Trayzn is hiding the plastic Sisters but won't release them for Cadia.

The more I hear about this book the more curious I get. The story sounds like it's got a lot to it. Lack of plastic Sisters sucks but I'm hoping for a small nod through another detachment or FOC for the army.

With my luck though they'll get a copy paste of C:IA with a Celestine option.

Interesting points in the story:

- The Phalanx is present to counter the Planet Killer.
- Trazyn says he knows the purpose of the pylons.
- Trazyn will open its vaults to set free some Imperial prisoners that were part of his collection.

So, the Black Templars are crusading at Cadia, and the Imperial Fists are at there as well. Trazyn is releasing Imperial prisoners from his collection...

DORN?

My thoughts exactly. Feth yeah!!!

Didn't Dorn die in a surfing a space ship into a planet or something?

Old fluff Dorn died. Current fluff he disappeared leaving only his hand. ITEHATTSD fluff says he then pretended to be the Emperor's cuddly Centurion.

Sigsimund would be cool, let the first Templar come back. I thought he would have died in a novel somewhere. But please, don't let it be blue man to come back first, we want a cool primarch.

Magnus was first...

And I'm over here twiddling my thumbs wishing my Primarch would rise from his coffin like an angelic Dracula.

All that said, I personally expect to see Lion El Johnson, Roboute Guilliman, and either Rogal Dorn, or Leman Russ make appearances to combat Magnus the Red and any other Traitor Primarchs that may show up soon.

Leman Russ makes the most sense, as he is the logical foil to Magnus the Red and seeing them tie into it again a-la Prospero would be interesting to say the least.

Also, Sanguinius was the best primarch.*

Rob the Robot coming back aside I feel like bring back the Primarchs could lead to some image changes when compared to the Heresy. Perhaps Russ with a proper Viking beard (finally) or give Form a mustache. Heck we could even see changes in equipment, rules and the like. Perhaps Dorn does wear a modified Centurion suit or Russ rides some Gigawolf. I don't know what's coming but I doubt GW ia just doubling down on the Heresy Era stuff.

What character bundle? I've seen images of the models but haven't heard anything about them selling them yet.

Also, hopefully with the "fall of Cadia" we get some new IG models. The current ones are mediocre at best. (Scions aside.) Hopefully they add something actually interesting like the Solar Auxillia into 40k.
