What character bundle? I've seen images of the models but haven't heard anything about them selling them yet.

Also, hopefully with the "fall of Cadia" we get some new IG models. The current ones are mediocre at best. (Scions aside.) Hopefully they add something actually interesting like the Solar Auxillia into 40k.

The 3 characters ( 5 models total, Ad Mech guy, Inquisitor, Celestine w/ 2 bodyguard) ie the "Triumvirate of the Imperium" as it is being called, 85€, £50, USA $80, Can $100, Aus $140, NZ $165 from the pics out of WD. http://natfka.blogspot.com/2016/12/january-white-dwarf-pics-prices-listed.html (one of the several places that have put it up)

50$ I could see for the book, but 80 for a set of characters you might not want all of? That seems like a ripoff.

Well, I was having beers with my GW source the other night and the topic got onto the Fall of Cadia and the coming story arcs and releases. He claims to know out to mid-2017 what is going to happen, but obviously needs to remain tight lipped. I did get the following tidbits though:

Outside of Celestine and her Geminii bodyguards, there are no plans in the next 5 months for any SoB boxes/kits.

The first loyal Primarch to 'wake up' will be Roboute, and not Russ/Lion/Vulkan as many predict. Blankets will be counted! Spirits will be lieged!

Trayzn is likely going to be releasing a 'Salamander' from prison. With a twinkle in his eye he quoted: 'It might not be Vulkan though.'

In regards to the Triumvirate of the Imperium on Cadia, there will be others. Think of an Eldar team containing an Eldar/Dark Eldar combo, with the Exodites thrown in.

That's all he could say. Discuss away. He's a very good source who gave me the Imp Agents + Traitor Legion info a few weeks back, so I have very good confidence that his info is legit.

Edit: A lot of speculation in the last few hours is leaning towards Dorn being woken in Trazyn's collection noting the presence of Imp Fists and Black Templars. This is purely speculation, but has anyone thought of Sigismund? The lore says that Sigismund went hunting for Abaddon after the Battle for Terra and was never see again....this is purely speculation on my behalf, but it would certainly tie-in the choice of the Black Templars/Imp Fist matchup on Cadia, wouldn't it?

Spoilers I guess for the next Black Legion novel:
Spoiler:
Sigismund is killed by Abaddon, in the next Black Legion novel (out in August, hopefully). ADB has said this on B&C.

I strongly suspect that these will be available individually later. £50 for these minis is a very good price. I was expect Cawl to be this much by himself. He is about the same size as a ghost keel.

You are overly optimistic: this would mean having just one book to carry around. All signs are pointing toward Fall of Cadia being a supplement to both SoB, Mechanicus, Black Templar, and Astra Militarum, and therefore not including the reprint of the rules for those armies, leaving you with two books to carry around.

I really hope the models get released separately, I'd love the ad mech guy but don't want the rest. Seems like an odd way to release them to me. Maybe GW are just trying different release methods to see if people will pay for stuff they don't want to get the stuff they do.

[spoiler]You mean Sigismund who fought as the first emperors champion during the battle for terra, and was the first chapter master of the black Templars during the second founding is going to die half way through the heresy. Seems very unlikely.

This all sounds good! The price for the set of characters seems pretty good to me [bit of a pain if you want just one of them but still eBay is your friend ..]. I like the sound of that rumour of Eldar triumvirate especially if the sculpts are of the scale and standard of the Imperium one. Has that guy posted rumours before? Exodites starting to appear would be great- Atia said a while back that they where in the works so maybe appearing as part of a character set would be a sort or teaser start like Celestine is for SoB [plastics must be 6+ months away for them].
2017 is looking busy [and expensive!].

Exactly.

Assuming it set during one of the early black crusades that makes a lot more sense.

Back on topic a bit more, with all the 8th edition rumours is the fall of cadia campaign book going to be the last thing we see for 7th. If they are pushing ahead with this progressing the fluff seems odd to do it over an edition change. Or are they going to to a full on end times of spamming campaign books out one a month then blowing up the world for a totally different game (I hope they learnt what a mistake they made with AoS and don't kill the cash cow).

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

I'd love a Great Harlequin model, but it could also be a good way of releasing the plastic Eldrad outside of a boxed game.

I still hear warning sirens when I see someone talking about Exodites. Then again, in two years we got a Harlequin Codex, two Ad-Mech books, a Deathwatch Codex, a Genestealer Cult Codex and a Traitor Legions book, so who the hell knows.

And Plastic Daemon Primarch, SoB, SoS, Custodes and multiple HH armors.

Exodites are not a stretch at this stage.

I cannot find the link atm but there was a Black Library author who spoke about the (high) possibility of an Exodite models release not too far in the future. Atia was referencing to him as well. I think/believe they will come sooner than later and in plastic. Except for more (Wraith-)Knight variants, the missing Phoenix Lords or plastic Rangers/Pathfinders the range is mostly complete and Exodites are the logical way to expand the faction and the 40k universe story-wise.

Exodites would be most welcome indeed, was planning actually how to do one now as really the models are there for conversion but a proper list and mecha lizards fills that dream.

Exodites would boost sales for Eldar and Seraphon, win win.

Huh, I thought Sigsimund had a conclusion, I really need to start reading more Heresy novels.

I cannot find it now, but it was quoted or at least mentioned on B&C. After looking for ~20 minutes, and google is not very helpful, I found Atia's quote from 30th of March 2016 (like here http://www.warhammer-forum.com/index.php?/topic/218300-calendrier-des-sorties-40k/&do=findComment&comment=2895942 ) about two old factions coming back but not that original conversation on B&C which was a bit more informative. This was also not the only mention. I will continue searching tonight if some one else doesnt chime in who remembers it.

Well now I am excited for the next White Dwarf. I really want to see how this Tryzan stuff plays out.

I bet they will split the boxed set up at a later date so you can get the inquisitor on their own.I know I want her, but still kinda bummed we lost servo skulls.

We'll know if that's a possibility once we see the sprues. If Celestine and her Geminii, Cawl and Greyfax are on their own separate sprues the I will say it will most likely happen at some point.

I would argue it needs a rebalanced Codex with a new plastic range.

Now that fire warriors no longer have seam lines you need to ruin their leg armour to get rid of and crisis suits actually fit together, yeah I'd agree Eldar are probably the next existing plastic line most in need of an update...

But could you really feel glad for them while Sisters remain languishing in metal?
