The suck thing is the more I learn from this thread, the less it seems like a Sisters new book/release schedule or more like a "Formation with Celestine!" is in my future.

That's a dissapointment, of sorts.

Hard to criticise an orange for not being an apple. This book isn't a Sisters release, nor was it ever intended as such. It's a Fall of Cadia release. That's all it's meant to do.

Will you need the Imp Agents book & C:SM to run the Sisters / BT formations / detachments from the Fall of Cadia book?

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

So the book about Cadia... with Abaddon on the cover... is basically just an Inquisition book.... hmmmm.

Greyfax: She’s been held in stasis by Trazyn, she’s meant to be from another time, captured by Trazyn the Infinite hundreds if not thousands of years ago, which is why her wargear looks a little more archaic than that of other Inquisitors. She appears during the final battle for Cadia, released from a tesseract vault on Solemnace by Trazyn the Infinite, Inquisitor Greyfax allies with black templars and fight against the chaos, but Greyfax is utterly appalled to see the Imperial defenders of Cadia worshipping the Living Saint – it is nothing short of idolatry in her mind. She also sees the Wulfen of the Space Wolves running rampant, Imperial psykers using their powers without sanction and an alien abomination that seems to be tolerated by the warriors around her.

I wonder if she is one of the original inquisitors or maybe one of the earlier ones before the Age of Apostasy.

Hereticus came post-Apostasy and based on her hat she's no sooner than M36. Still upwards to 4k years before Celestine though.

That aside I eagerly await more leaks. What we have is very little at the moment and more clarity should be coming soon.

I'm excited for more rules leaks. Knowing their lore is fantastic, but know how they play feels more important. To me, anyway.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

We've seen that little nugget trotted out a couple times. From /tg/ is basically like saying 'written by a large number of monkeys one a large number of feces covered typewriters', however.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
It also directly conflicts with the fact that other reports have her using psychic powers. Oh well, another one to add to tg's wonderful rumor record.

So Greyfax might have been a Sister of Battle yet somehow is a pysker and doesn't like Celestine?

She's before Celestine, hates herself, and MIGHT have been a Sister. Could have just 'acquired' a set of their armor.

Grimdark bro... She's a self hating psyker-witch, who digs the witch-hating....yet sanctioned psyker loving Black Templars. Of course she hates Celestine who now has ethereal, psychic "john-woo" doves and stuff. I just don't get her problem with sanctioned Psykers, given she herself is a sanctioned psyker.

By the ways she been presumed dead for thousands of years. Does she even have Inquisitorial powers anymore? Or is it an only in death does duty end kinda thing?

Considering the nature of the Warp and Warp travel, I'm sure she's not the first Inquisitor to go missing for a few thousand years. The Inquisition has probably had to deal with Inquisitors existing thousands of years before they're supposed to, too.

Where's that from? All the sources I can find still refer to them as being founded during/in response to the Age of Apostasy.

Well I'm buying the Triumvirate of the Imperium and book no question. Time to give the old Marshal a fresh coat of gold paint if he going to entertaining a Living Saint. Given how there portraying Templar in the fluff fawning over a mere navigator. Can you imagine there response to an actual saint. Can space marines squee?

On the Greyfax being a psyker business, hypocrisy is at the very essence of the inquisition. Ordo Xenos uses Xenos weapons. Ordo Malleus uses Daemonhosts. Ordo Hereticus regularly deals with reformist organizations.

Very good point. I suspect many world's are only tenuously loyal anyhow. Abaddon should really have little trouble swaying them, so long as he can convince them he can protect them from the IoM.

Hmm dunno. If satan came to your doorstep and said "we can protect you! Join us!" would you join?

That's basically what chaos and their followers have been taught to be so they are going to have pretty strong distrust from the getgo.

If Satan came to my door and I had no idea who he was and he had just kicked the ass of the dictatorship that had been opressing me and my people for millennia and offered me a chance at UNLIMITED POWAH, I might be tempted. I think this is the more likely scenario.

Yeah but in this case when somebody comes in suggesting join what you have been taught to be the satan(or next best thing)...

It's not like Imperium isn't doing propaganda AGAINST them. The planet population has been subjected into propaganda so much that doubtful they would even ask for terms before doing what they have been taught to do(under penalty of death from disobeying)

That piece had nothing that would contradict with her using psychic powers. Note she was described as being against psychic powers used _without sanction_. That doesn't mean she's against SANCTIONED use.
