I don't know why you would but it isn't going to stop me from proxying for a list or two.

Probably more useful is Celestine, a Command Squad (with Apoth) and a Captain on BIke (gorgon or smash). Giving Celestine FNP on top of the rest if hilarious.

Celestine synergizes nicely with IH troops as well since she improves their fnp.

It would be funny if GW's idea of learning from their mistakes with the fantasy end times was for them to do the exact same thing with 40k, only instead of killing off everyone they all get "collected" by trollzyn.

There’s a difference between having a hobby and being a narcissist.

I really need to pay more attention to the news & Rumors section.

Celestine and her bodyguard look fantastic, and perhaps their armour looks somewhat more bulky than the old metals, which I can totally get behind.

The Inquisitor is also fantastic, though I may have to do something about those heels.

All in all, GW is getting some of my money for the first time in years. Bloody Brilliant.

Reading about all th see death stars I really hope GW implement the "characters can't join units" rule from AoS, and instead give them a look out sir if they're close to other troops. Would instantly solve so many shenanigans in 40k. Sadly I don't think it could be done without a complete rewrite.

It would also have the side effect of 'fixing' The Masque and other lone Infantry Characters that aren't ICs.

She kinda worked in WHFB because you could Look Out onto nearby lesser daemons but in 40k she's just a free First Blood/Kill Point.

Kreig is WWI french, with WWI German influences.

Steel legion is WWII Germans/Blitz kreig.

I think we need generic IG regiment in the same style as the MT.

If GW could give us a dual kit with updated RT guard and the Jes Goodwin greatcoat guard(below), I think I could just about manage to forgive them for their atrocious modern fluff

I don't think he sculpts anymore (on WHTV he talked about how awful he was at 3D sculpting), but yeah his designs are still on point.

Sounds like I am going to have to give the 40k books a miss now if this is the way things are going.

At least there might be some nice minis coming out on the back of all this !

Well sounded pretty much same level as ET in FB side was. At least there shouldn't be HE vs DE thing type event in 40k. Eldar and Dark eldar aren't bitter enemies so them working together isn't big surprise. Worst is Imperium & Xenos but they have worked together in past as well.

Unless Tyranids suddenly joins Imperium no HE&DE level of headslapping needed

Nothing wrong with a complete rewrite. After what 16 years or so of third edition and add ons, it's time for a new edition of 40K.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

He doesn't sculpt anymore, but he's still a designer

His words concerning his 3D sculpt experience were something like "It was as if I was sculpting with a cricket bat" - which is one of the most British things I have ever heard

Gooooood, give in to the urge, join us, the Eternal Crusade has permanent recruitment opportunities and an excellent life insurance plan.

There was a rumour on Natfka but im pretty sure I read it somewhere else first but there will be a second Triumvirate box but with an Eldar, DE and an Exodite.

Looking forward to seeing that red armour dude anyway but I would melt if I see an Eldar riding a Dino.

Yeah...I wouldn't give that much credence.

The description given is of a giant wearing armor that echoes Craftworld Aspect and Commorite raider designs.

That doesn't suggest Exodite. It suggests Corsair. We also get a Harlequin Shadowseer namedropped and I wouldn't be surprised to see her get a model and rules...along with a repackage of a certain Farseer who was in Death Masque.

Like most things with Natfka, they seem to just throw random ideas out and hope it sticks. We got the image of the big Eldar-y looking guy when the book was first announced so making a "prediction" of a second Triumvirate box featuring Eldar and throwing random Eldar faction names in gives you a decent chance at possibly being right.

I see faeit has reported the rumour of an Eldar Triumvirate coming as well- probably reverb from the Sanguinius rumour. Ties in with this figure described as having crimson armour "echoing both Craftworld aspect armour and the crueller plate of the Commorrite pirates. Cawl found no record of its design, even in the deepest archives."

Could be an exodite or a corsair but both of those would be in Cawl's archives, something older from the pre fall or something new?

The description didn't read like exodite.
There was an eldar in red armour that resembled aspect with comorite theme (not exodite more likely corsair)
Eldrad
The shadowseer
And a female eldar in white gown (?)
and let's not forget vect is due a model soon.

We have seen the red eldar picture and shadow of the model. So it's likely part of a new character series, but I don't see any mention of feral eldar unless lady in white is the lord of the rings version of wood elves.

My guess of new eldar model trimunvirate.

Red corsair eldar
Vect (because it's an exsisting faction)
Lady in white (no clue faction) or named shadowseer

Eldrad is released solo.
I don't see gw making 2 new eldar factions.

Based on the wording of Lord Castellan, it looks like you would not only be able to reload your warlord's trait, but any warlord traits.

Grab one or two extra inquisitors for bonus traits and they also get to re-roll. Better chances at getting what you need maybe?

I think we're far more likely to see that Shadowseer than an Exodite in any Elder triumvirate.

Most of all I'd like to see a box of new plastic Phoenix Lords...
