The ones I remember:

Blood Angels Contemptor- It's a Furioso... with a mild invulnerable save. Costs a lot more.

Land Raider Achilles - It was notorious for being hard to kill, but... I'm not sure why that would be high priory, and among other things, its weapon loadout should much cheaper than that of a standard Land Raider.

Caestus Assault Ram - Can't hit vehicles (although stupid things happen if you mix RAW with Forge World units, not having Vector Strike suggests it wasn't intended to ram aircraft either), shoot if it jinks, or recieve any benefit from its transport capacity unless carrying Terminators

Xiphon Pattern Interceptor - Extremely low chance of taking down an aircraft in its first turn, unlikely to do any real damage after it jinks - shoot at it once per turn and its not a problem.

Storm Eagle - Weapons options make it ridiculously expensive, and the units it would carrying only add to that.

Which other ones are there?

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

I think the Hierophant is definitely a tough competitor here. Not exactly worth 1k points, especially compared to bullgak spess elves and commies can pull off.

It's not the fault of modern rules. Heirophants were terrible when they were released. Not as terrible, but still really bad - S10 AP3 shooting was never worth the cost of admission, and while it has/had a lot of attacks in melee, an equal points value of Terminators could beat one up for its lunch money.

Lets see: grot mega-tanks have overpriced weapons, lifta wagons are really overpriced, both kinds of squiggoths are too, the kill blasta tank and battlefortresses cost a lot, the FW ork flyers and warkoptas do too. Sooo, basically 3/4 of the apocalypse stuff for orks is overcosted.

In general FW doesn't go for OP stuff, it's just that a lot of their rules are nonsensical.

FW isn't intentionally OP, but I get the sense that a lot of their rules don't really take balance into consideration, they just make a really cool model and add fluffy rules to it. Which is how we end up with uselessly overcosted options next to things like the Spartan, which is head-and-shoulders better than regular Land Raiders.

So, just like everything else GW publishes.

All of the greater Daemons with their "fluffy" point costs. I'd say all of them cost at least 200points too much, though I haven't seen them in actual play.

You say 75% of forgeworld is overpriced and "its not intentionally OP "?

I don't think you know what OP means mate. It stands for overpowered, not overpriced.

And yes, most of forgeworld is underpowered and overpriced.
Looking at the book I know best, IA3, of all 20 or so tau units ONE is good, the others are unplayable, except two hammerhead variations and R'alai who are just good enough for casual games. The rest not even for casual as they make derps like mutilators and rubrics look top tier.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Rapier Quad Mortars and Secutarii Peltasts at least have a pretty low cost IMO.

^The only other thing I can thing of is the Hornet, but thats more because they undercosted the Pulse Laser upgrade and it's actually a reasonable price, it's most other vehicles that are overcosted.

Well, the Secutarii are still experimental rules, and tese tend to get nerfed in the actual release.

The rapier is overpowered in general, but other than the rapier and experimentals, I can't think off the top of my head of anything truly overpowered in FW
lost and damned spawn are sorta undercosted, but still spawn, and require a tzeentch dedication that has an opportunity cost against other options that are conflicting. (unless you are in varks, but varks armies has their own limitations)

Why would it pay for its own transport capacity?

And to be fair, the amount of pure dakka put out by a manta outshines what most 2000 point armies can do.

96 S5AP5 shots from LBBC
18 S7AP3 shots from ion cannons
2 S7AP4 shots from missile pod
Networked Markerlight for effective BS 4.666
6 seeker missiles
2 heavy railguns that can shoot either Dap1 or S7AP3 7" blasts.

Even if you ignore it's transport ability, she sheer firepower is not to be ignored. its just that taking one down isn't too hard these days, especially in games of over 2000 points.

A Leviathan Dread is a good way to kill a chunk of points in your list. Still don't know why CSM doesn't get them but whatever.

Maybe if you just look at the numbers, but remember that the Manta has a hard time applying all of that firepower. It has to start in reserve, and suffer awkward movement problems if it doesn't go into hover mode and leave itself vulnerable to blast weapons. Its burst cannons are widely spaced and can barely fire from one end of the Manta to the other, so you'll have to split your shots. And that's assuming you allow the top-mounted burst cannons to fire at ground targets at all, rather than enforcing their modeled arcs. Without a rule like that half its burst cannons can only fire at other aircraft (which they are marginal at best against). Finally, its main guns are all hull-mounted, so good luck getting optimal shots there.

So, let's add up the Manta's firepower. Three TL ion cannons is roughly equal to three Hammerheads (twin-linked offsetting the loss of the blast option), 96 pulse shots is four 12-man squads of fire warriors at rapid fire range (throw in Devilfish to get them there), and the single missile pod is half a crisis suit. So, three ion Hammerheads with seeker missiles, four mech fire warrior squads, and we have the Manta's secondary weapons. That leaves the two D-weapons, but are they really worth the gap in points between an optimized 2000 point army and our "fire warriors + Hammerheads" example?

Finally, remember that Reaver titans exist. A Manta is not going to out-shoot a Reaver, and the Reaver is only 1500 points. And the titan gets to start on the table and shoot all of its weapons every turn. A titan and support force will beat the Manta army every time, most of the time before the Manta even arrives from reserves.

18 S7AP3 shots from ion cannons
Networked Markerlight for effective BS 4.666

These are also wrong. The Manta has three twin-linked ion cannons, not six normal guns, so only nine shots. And the markerlight is not BS 4.66666 because it only applies to a single target, while the Manta is going to be splitting its shots across multiple targets.
