New conversion I've been working on:





Beastriders Chaos War Mastadon. I picked up the Mumak cheap but it needed some repair work done (ear replacement, etc). Not sure if I want to try and get a hero mini to stand behind the standard bearer in the top part of the howdah or not. The guy in the front will hopefully be holding chains that go down to its tusks.

That is simply beautiful. Great work!

Not much new stuff for now, but I did finish a Sisters of Battle test model:





Paint job is a tad rough, but I was mostly experimenting with colors. It's a pretty bold scheme, but I'm kinda a fan.

It's a GW Lord of the Rings Mumakil; pretty sure it's still available, comes with Haradrim archers and stuff but it's the right scale for Fantasy/AoS. I got mine used from EBay though.

Nothing new finished yet but I'm in the process of doing a couple more Sisters and painting the Archaon unit filler for my Chaos Warriors, so expect those soon hopefully.





Progress pics. Mastadon/Mumak has a bunch of mold lines on it which I didn't notice before painting and can't really be bothered to now remove (plus it'll screw up my paint work), which is kinda lame but hey ho.

I have to admit I'm guilty of that too sometimes especially if it's in an out of the way place...

At some point I tell myself that I'll go back over all my models and get rid of them when I run out of ideas for new stuff to make, but for now that's not looking particularly imminent...

Love the skintone on the Mumak though

Not really much on the painting front; though Archaon and the Sister are pretty much done. I've got something more exciting though; took some pics of half my classic Dogs of War army, which is a project I'm eventually planning on tackling (almost all of it needs paint stripping).

Hell yeah I love converted versions of other Gods' units. Can't wait to see these come together

Been working on some of the Dogs of War stuff, paint stripped and repainted a rank of Ricco's Republican Guard.

2nd rank of Republican Guard is painted (plus a couple Hireling Wizard models in the background).



Also converted up this Lustrian Expedition Mercenary Captain.
