hello all! I was wondering is you could have GW make a new model, what would it look like/do/etc...

(also I wanted to apologize for my last thread... everyone makes mistakes?)

for me it would be kind of like a hormagaunt except standing up like a warrior and with 2 sets of scything talons, it would keep the head of a hormagaunt though, and be roughly the size of space marine to the bottom of its head.

Updated Warbuggies. It's still hilarious how 2nd-ed Orks are still driving them around, especially since they're so much smaller than the modern minis.

Daemon Princes. They look like butts.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

Plastic Tauros (the Elysian dunebuggy, not the weird Chimera-replacement). And plastic Aspect Warriors.

Not sure how much we need something entirely new, there are way too many old things stuck by the wayside. Unless you're DE or Necrons pretty much everyone's motor pool is 3e-vintage.

Tau:

Lamprey AX-6-4 or Scorpionfish 6-6: The primary model is the Scorpionfish which is based off of the real life Commanche Helicopter Gunship. It would provide crucial stealth hover spaceship support for prolonged firefights and would have tons of guns and weaponry. Turreted long barreled heavy burst cannon skyfire, 6 seeker missiles (upgrade able to heavy seekers) skyfire, two twin linked high yield missile pods with skyfire. As an option it can upgrade to additional wing mounts that reduces it stealth bonus but gives it a napalm cluster attack stormsurge style it let's you put down a large blast fire templates. Naturally this thing relies on stealth more than straight up armor or toughness so without the rocket pods upgrade it's rocking a 3+ and with reduced to a 4+. The Lamprey is a stealth dropship with fire support capabilities. It's got the smaller tau coldstar pule rifle, it only has the 6 seekers. It has a markerlight like the skyray gunship to support troops though. All the weapons have skyfire potential. Cargo capacity is 10 guys or a smaller amount of suits for deep strike.

Please GW... I'll give you all the monies. :(
Comanche Gunship picture. Now imagine it a little larger since 40k and tau ified.

Another one I thought of would be called an orc luggernaught it would be a small mech suit with an open top, think the size of a pain boy up to the top of his claw, anyway it would be piloted by a grot, (probably wouldn't work due to lore saying that they are worthless but I just like the idea) and it would be dragging a big gun kannon. in the other hand it would carry some artillery. the thought behind this is a movable kannon.

no idea how this would fit into rules or if it would be OP. probably both.

So...a stealth Valkyrie but up-armed through the nose and with a cover save?

This set of kit looks like...what, 300pts worth?

It would be a heavy support option for sure and expensive. The transport much cheaper.

Doomrider would indeed be sweet, but I'd love to see a nurgle daemon prince or Great Unclean One that doesn't look completely aweful. Also maybe a GW plastic primarch would be epic, maybe the lion, or mortarion(as I'm not a fan of the FW one)!

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with the current basic CSMs? I just build some and they're a pretty nice kit IMO, the only thing I would want is more special weapons/gear on the sprue. I think the lines could be a little cleaner, but overall I'm liking the look of the finished models.

gosh you all have great suggestions! as a third thing, I would want a kind of transport for the nids, I imagine a sort of beetle like body ( soft underbelly with sacks and a top that looks like the armor of other nids) and an inset head. along with four pairs of scything talons as legs and two little talons in the front....
