It's a brand, yes. Extremely popular across the nation, and seemingly the favourite amongst most of our British Dakkanauts

I have noticed that I am taking my black tea stronger these. and with less milk and sugar.
There was a time when I couldn't drink the stuff without 4 or 5 teaspoons of sugar.....

I messed up the poll. Coffee drinking Brit here.
Ground and from the fridge when at home, and Kenko instant when at work.
But, tea drunk by Herself at home, that's Yorkshire Tea. We take it with us when we go away. A place we stay at, in Northumberland, didn't have that, so we always pack enough.

I had to switch to decaf Yorkshire a few years back on account of my anxiety, and dreaded the different taste people talk about decaf having. It's actually pretty bloody close to non-decaf; I probably wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't looking for differences.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

They also do a handy hard water version if your water is bad but you still want a cuppa.
Filtering water for tea is kinda a must alot of the time...
Perfectly good tea can be ruined by bad water.

Pg Tips, Mug of whole milk + Microwave= That stuff makes you strong! It also keeps you chugging along nicely when its frikkin cold and frosty outside.
It's not one to drink regularly mind. all that milk!
Other than that brew I go for PG Tips but I have been moving more towards green teas and white teas. Mainly because I dont use milk and reduce my sugar intake.
Whitards have an okay range and teapigs are pretty cool. Their teas make great iced beverages in summer!
I wasn't sure if you were pulling our legs or telling the truth, so I tried it out myself.
It's pretty nice, not that strong though.

Assam all the way, both loose leaf and in bags. Twinings do decent Assam bags but in the last couple of years thye reduced the amount of tea in the tea bag making it a less satisfacory brew. Damn them. Damn their eyes.
I get a nice tippy Assam from a boutique coffee shop in Cirencester so my leaves are better quality. I drink an inordinate amount of tea, so wuality matters!

Scottish water is very soft, that's precisely what the blend makes the most of! I believe it's a PG Tips variation.

Scottish water should not be diverted for the making of anything besides their wonderful namesake distilled product.

Oh they'll have to go through me first....
Cretins would probably have the water too hot and all, scorch the leaves and bruise the flavour.
Also, full English (and I mean full. Beans. Toast. Fried Bread. Black Pudding. Tinned Mushrooms. Everything but filthy hash browns) and a mug of hot, sweet tea?

I'm English and I hate tea. Literally despise and cannot drink the stuff. I can tolerate coffee but only really partake when it's cold or I'm hungover.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.” |
