If Games Workshop released a FAQ with new rules for Wraith Knights making them vehicles (with armour values, etc.). Granted they are still just as strong, but now more vulnerable to melta/ordnance weapons/haywire.

Would you complain? And what would the basis for your complaint be?

No complaints from me, I don't use them and it would mean people would see eldar as slightly less OP than they do right now.

Me as well.

I’d just hope they kept going and nerfed all the MC/GMCs that should be walkers as well. WKs are probably the worst offender, but not the only one.

It can stay a GMC. Just pay for it. It's a 400 pt model.

Ditto. It would make the Avatar more unique too.

I'm O.K. with it but it'll need IWND or something since vehicles can't have FNP.

please don't nerf MCs into vehicles. Vehicles are crap, don't take away my dreadknight, without it my grey noodles would have nothing.

Inb4 GW makes it a walker with all around 12 armor, no invuln, and base cost 170 before upgrades because people complained about it a long time ago.

Funny thing is, the only differences between a dreadknight and dreadnought is a bit of size and one has a half dead pilot lol.

The fact that there's a pilot inside both is amusing, much like the surge.

Being a nids player though I know my luck.
The fex will become an AV10 walker lol.
Not much else they can do to kick nids while they are down.

I'd be fine with it being a Super Heavy Walker with the condition that:
It would have to be AV12 all around with 6HPs and it would have to have some special rule that gives it some sort of save similar to the Eldar Titan holofields, or the IK Ion shields

But that simple change would make it more price appropriate to an IK as well as being less OP, so I would be able to take 2 without any guilt.

But a better solution would be to combine the Walker & MC rules into 1 unit type with Armour saves & a Damage chart.

I'm fine with this on the grounds that walkers/vehicles get a buff. There are so many things in the game that basically read "and the vehicle dies, the end" and I'd prefer we fix that before switching things over to being vehicles.

Vehicle get Armour saves, MC have to roll on the damage chart. There, fixed..........mostly

The more I see your posts, the more I like them mate.

I'd personally love to see the following happen.

Tau suits becoming walkers. All of them. Even the battlesuits. AV 8 and AV 9 exist you know, not everything has to be AV 10+
The Dreadknight becomes a walker too.
Wraith units become walkers. OR have their Toughness nerfed down to 6 or 7. Toughness 8 is fething ridiculous.

Or if you wanted to spice things up with common sense logic...

Daemon Engines become MCs. All of them. Because let's face it, in reality daemonic entities possessing machines have every right to be a MC or GC as piloted or soul possessed suits do.

Pfft. Don't push your luck there mate. They'd probably give it Gets Hot or something to represent the fact that you cannot synapse babysit a vehicle

Wow I would love this soo much. It might even bring back killa kanns to a normal point cost, and tyranids suddenly become quite unique again : D

Well, its a superheavy creature and not a superheavy tank.
Superheavy tanks (like Baneblades) seem to be more vulnerable than superheavy creatures. Experienced from our apoc games.

S4 vs T5 = Wounding on 5s. S4 Vs AV9 = Glancing on 5s. Like that?

You couldn't make a battle suit an AV8 vehicle.

As much as I dislike the fish people, a S3 weapon scoring a pen isn't right lol.
Would also mean a lot of rules changes.
Not to mention a ton of hassle when playing against a suit heavy army.

As a nids player though I am pissed that we have the main MCs and 99% are gak.
Some pansy space elf is a better MC now.

Meh? Make the Wraithknight an AV12 super-heavy walker with titan holo-fields and it'll be a bit more durable against some edge cases, a bit less against others, and still need a price hike.
