I'm slowly building a small Army of Dark Compliance list, and the Legion element of the army will consist of some Word Bearers Tartaros Terminators and some HQ's (probably a Chaplain and a Centurion, not sure yet). I'm having some trouble with deciding the Tartaros' loadout, however.
My current plan is to have the Terminators and HQ's footslog behind the Militia, using them as expendable meatshields until the Legionnaires reach whatever it is they need to reach (like an objective or a particularly nasty enemy). So I was thinking of a more assault-oriented loadout, but I have no idea what that would look like
At the moment, I've got three of them blu-tacked together with the following weapons:
1x Terminator Sergeant with Power Weapon and Volkite Charger; might also give him a Grenade Harnass
1x Terminator with Heavy flamer and Power fist/Chainfist
1x Terminator with Combi-bolter and Chainfist
I picked the Chainfists and the Heavy flamer mostly because they look awesome, so I'd like to keep those, but other than that, I'm open to any and all suggestions
Addendum:
Do note, this is mostly going to be a fluffy army rather than a competitive one, so I'm not particularly worried about taking the 'optimal' loadout - I just want these guys to be at least somewhat effective once they get to the enemy.

Do Tartaros have access to LC ? If yes, I recommend you take some for anti-MEQ. MEQ could swarm you and wipe your squad if you only attack at initiative 1.

It's generally a good idea in 30k to keep half-ish of the squad with just the power weapon to keep the price down and the versatility up; annoyingly the plastic box only ships with the one power sword so you've got to improvise. Personally I like the Nemesis Falchions out of the Grey Knight Terminator kit on the Forge World resin Terminators, it looks short, brutish, and straightforward by comparison to most power weapons and fits with the general more streamlined aesthetic.
If you'd rather stick with the plastic kit it doesn't really matter whether you use the powerfist/chainfist or the lightning claw; there are very few units in 30k that can throw significant amounts of AP2 at Initiative at you, and most of those don't care about lightning claw attacks by virtue of having higher I, higher T, a 2+ save, or all of the above (e.g. Phoenix Terminators). I'd recommend not building more than one or two chainfists a squad, since any more is almost always overkill, but beyond that powerfists are probably fine.
The Grenade Harness is a fairly good buy and serves to mark out the Sergeant, the Heavy Flamer is a reasonable pick if you're trying to avoid tarpits (the Reaper Autocannon is there for multi-purpose Terminators to add flexibility in Terminators-in-Troops Pride of the Legion lists, the Plasma Blaster is there for specialized elite-hunter units). It may be worth trying to find another Volkite Charger or two; they're only a marginal upgrade against Marines (the bonus to wound and deflagrate compensate for the loss of twin-linked, but only just), but they offer a significant improvement in versatility by making the squad more of a threat to Mechanicum-bots and light vehicles, and offering a significant improvement against militia/cult units.

I should perhaps also note that I'm kitbashing the Tartaros with some Chaos Terminator bits (because heresy), so I've got access to some Power Axes and a Maul as well. I've also got some spare Combi-Meltas left, if that helps.
As for the Volkite Chargers, I'm also going to run a Leman Russ Annihilator and an Exterminator in the Militia part of the army; would those be able to deal with the bots, light vehicles and militia? Not that I'm completely averse to the idea of using Volkite Chargers, it's just that I'd like to use the sprues that I already have as much as possible
Also, would it be wise to attach the Centurion/Chaplain to the squad? They'd be equipped with Tartaros armour as well, so the squad wouldn't lose its special abilities.

If you're sticking with some base power weapons then Mauls are worth considering.
LCs do a better job than swords for AP3 and if you're going axes just do fists because in either case you're not getting the 2x CCW bonus.
Mauls have good utility, force more wounds on 3+ and 2+ armor, threaten light armor and between S6 AP4 and Concussive they do a number on Mechanicum.
Plus Mauls do seem pretty Word Bearer to me.

I have a 5 man squad. I use 1 LC, 2 PFs, and 2 CFs. I also slap the grenade harness on the Sarge and upgrade 1 to a Heavy Flamer. All the others get Combi-Meltas, however I run them in a Land Raider so I can usually get them up close and personal fairly quickly. If I was footsloggin them I might consider foregoing the Combi-Meltas, or else take fewer.
I didn't add a Power Maul, because 7 times out of 10 I am facing other Marine armies with 3+s or better.

Volkite Chargers are less 'necessary for the army to deal with (target X)' and more 'allows this specific unit to do more things'. They're not essential, but they're nice to have.

Lighting claws with sweeping advance and ap value...
That could be rather nasty and strike at initiative and then can sweep up squads unlike any other terminators.

Okay, let's say I go for the following:
1x Sergeant - Volkite Charger, Power Sword & Grenade Harness
1x Terminator - Heavy Flamer & Power Fist
1x Terminator - Combi-Bolter & Lightning Claw
2x Terminators - Combi-Bolters & Chainfists
Would this setup work on the tabletop? And would it be a good idea to give the Terminator with the Lightning Claw a second one?

Yes that looks good, though Power Maul would be better than Power Sword, IMO.

it looks fine (since, as has been pointed out, basically anything can work), BUT I wouldn't really put a single volkite charger in the squad, as it's just extra points since it doesn't mesh well with bolters IMO. Personally, I like the simple fist + bolter, with special weapons in there when I want
