Question for anyone who has assembled Necron Flayed Ones.
I'm thinking about trying them out but I really hate the look of the new models. The flayed corpses they carry around look so stupid in my opinion. Can they be easily assembled and still look half decent without them? Or will it be a big green stuff project?

Can you find old metals on eBay? The earliest flayed ones weren't half bad.

I've actually been looking around for metal ones in the meantime. Those are not bad at all

I have some of the 3rd edition Flayed Ones. They look a lot better. Pity though they weren't popular at the time, so very few are on the secondary market. However I did manage to get 2 for 2 bucks each.

the one-eyed look really makes them look unnerving. And the shoulder blade thingies reminds me of The Butcher zombie from Dead Island.
...I might have to steal this idea. YOINK.

I've done something similar to SQRT. Normal warriors, sprinked with green stuff hides, plasticard claws and various bitz (especially the small claws from the wraith box are ace for this). And liberal use of Blood for the Blood God of course. My opponents in the shop tend to find them... unnerving.
