So, 8th edition has caught my attention. I was really debating getting back onboard, however, I decided to take the plunge.
How would people, if I were to game against you, feel about an Ork army, but I use human models instead of orks? It'd be Immortal Joe & his War Boys!
It would be a highly converted army, and I'd use the following models for example - Genestealer Cults Acolyte & Neophyte Hybrids (the human looking ones), Goliath Rockgrinder, Goliath Truck, Deff Rolla Battlewagon, battlewagon, ork trukk, warbikers, chaos cultists, Adeptus Mechanicus Fulgurite Electro-Priests, and some choice FW models like Renegade Militia, ork halftrakk, ork big trakk, and tauros...
Thoughts?

Yeah, I was planning on putting the unit name on the border like "boyz" and "Gitz" and "Kammandos" for my ease of set up & opponents peace of mind...

As long as it's clear to you and your opponent which models are what, and what they're equipped with - any conversion is possible.
Writing the name of the unit on the base of each model is a good idea; make sure they're equipped with wysiwyg and it will all be good.

I used to have them in Gorkamorka. I was playing Mad Max with wannabe Ork Humies 20 years ago

Dont the bloodaxes have human members of their clan? I dunno, I haven't played orks in years.

...I mean, if you're already using the Goliath truck and the Tauros you could just run a Mad Max GSC/Guard army. Less counts-as confusion involved.

I've taken all my spare Ork Shoota boyz, swapped their heads with Fantasy Crypt Ghouls, and use them as (pale ugly bald) mutants for my Chaos army.
However, if I ever needed extra bodies in my Ork lists (Doubtful) they would still fit in! Witness!

The Gorkamorka Facebook group has a lot of people doing Mad Max Fury Road themed Diggas and Ork mobs
But would love to see an entire table top army done that way
