I'm painting miniatures at the moment so the tank will remain as it is for now... it may remain that way until I've made the other two for the first platoon... but one thing is for certain; my hobby mojo is a fickle thing so patterns of painting/sculpting are in the lap of the gods !

Once the bases have properly dried, I'll be getting the second infantry squad out and onto the painting table.

Also, the Macrocosm Miniatures shop is now open again so my Squat miniatures are back on the market again. I get no money from the sales, or from sculpting the miniatures... I get casts instead...

Great work Inso, the heavy weapons teams look spot on. I like the happy little diver as well (unless it's one of those where it's a skull underneath.. )

Cheers ... and the diver isn't a "skull underneath", it was made for a friend who used to be a Navy diver and wanted a "fantasy" diver to wear around his neck, on a chain... So I sculpted this for him (from pictures he gave me) and got a few cast in metal so he could have one as a pendant. As a result, he has one on a chain now and I'm in the process of cleaning a few more up so that he can give them to his family members .

It is satisfying... it'll be a "bucket list" thing to create a range of miniatures (done ) and to have an army of them painted but (unless I get bad news ), I reckon I've not got too much of a rush to finish painting them .

They look great. Clean paint job, and the sculpts are absolutely fantastic.
