So i noticed on the Forgeworld coming soon article for Gabriel Angelos that it is the first in the 40k character series.

I loved the 30k series and hope it continues but i gotta admit im super excited to see some 40k models added;

Personally, id love to see a savagely grizzled Captain Cortez

Hell yeah Vect. I have faith in FW's grimdark yet realistic character building from their 30k stuff, so i feel like they could do him justice. And-or Urien Rakarth or another gribbly Haemonculus to sink their teeth into

Corsawin is 30k and likely to get a model.

I'd like Eliphas the Inheritor from Dark Crusade, when he was cool.

Ventris is a distinct possiability as he's appered outside of a individual writers stuff. thanks to dark Imperium.

Sylandri Veilwalker. Though maybe she works best as that "G-Man"-type character that pulls on everybody's strings from behind the scenes.

Lord Inquisitor Weinand from TBA. Maybe she teams up with that Shadowseer she freed for more adventures down the line.

Lelith Hesperax could also be an interesting counterpoint to Jain Zar.

And of course Sly MaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArbo.

I think characters like Honsou etc would be good choices, in part because this would be a good oppertunity to give characters to other major chapters that are kinda left out right now. Well I'd love to see Uriel Ventris, there are a bajillion UMs characters, he'd not nesscarily bring much to the table (on the other hand if the rumors that Sicirus isn't in the new codex, then the UMs could use a new Captain character) so with this I'd like to see the Iron Hands Chapter Master (ok they TECHNICLY don't have one) Imperial fists chapter master etc get rules.

I'd want Da'kir, T'sugan, Pyriel and Fugis. Especially Fugis.

Lelith Hesperax or Asdrubael Vect get my votes. I'd really like something DE, though I'll settle for anything that isn't IoM-oriented (especially SM). It's not that I dislike Imperium/SM lore, but gods know we get plenty of that already. I wouldn't mind a Sororitas character, but that'd require the development of one which isn't already a living saint.

Sevatar. He already has a model and isn't confirmed KIA. It would be so easy, update his FW rule sheet and wham bam thank you maam. I hate using my totally badass Sevatar model as a generic lord. It's insulting to his resin

I reckon they'll restrict models to characters that are named in fluff or in black library novels (or obviously computer games!) not ones that currently have a model already.

Vect or any other characters that have had rules but now don't might be a good choice.

Kardan Stronos might also be a good choice as a lot of iron hands players would rejoice! Especially if it comes with an axe of medusa

I'd love in the FW series could remain specific to the Black Library original characters. Characters that used to have models should be done by GW for the new codexes, but FW should focus on BL characters and other non-GW Main sources. Things like Gabriel Angelos and Uriel Ventris, for example. Justicar Alaric from the GK omnibus. Ravenor, Eisenhorn and their respective friends. Or characters who pop up time and time again but dont get rules or models. For example, Mkar the Reborn, Honsou the Warsmith, Nkari. Assuming of course that GW doesn't plan for specific Iron Warriors or Slaanesh Daemon books down the road with these characters in them.

Leave Codex characters to be in plastic.


The one exception I'd make is established characters with a much nicer model that already exists in plastic. The old FW Abaddon is godly. But I'd only be happy if Abaddon gets a plastic reboot first. A units primary source of model should not be FW. Too expensive for the model, too expensive for shipping to most parts of the world, too hard to work with, and too exclusive to justify.

M'kar would be really awesome from a model pov too with his whole Hellbrute-Daemonprince thing.

If xenos armies are allowed, then sign me up for a Gorgutz, Bludflag and/or Grimskull miniature.

Some people really dissagree on this, but I really like Gorgutz' new design.

I want an alternative Ork Warlord model. How about a blast from the past and they make a Nazdreg Ug Urdgrub model. A bad moon warboss is needed!
