I'm hoping it's more than just a third gang, and I'm hoping that the boxed gangs see a quicker separate release than the boxed Blood Bowl teams.

One every two months would be good, the Bloodbowl model is working though, they just seemingly didn't plan on plasticating everything hence the slow down, hopefully Necromunda being a planned "hard plastic" line means less delays.

The first 5 bloodbowl teams were all made by the main studio. When bloodbowl launched they did not have a sculpting team, hence the long gap till the elf team. There is now a team of 5 or so dedicated designers which which should helps things considerably.

I can't believe we are this close to release and still have so little info to work with. It seems really strange that GW are finally bringing necro back, which seems to be something the community has wanted for a long time and GW give us the silent treatment. I know they aren't one for advertising but if they handled this well they could really generate some hype behind the release. At least tease some of the other gangs!!

Soo, waitamnute, GW posting up an article (or two?) on Warhammer Community and putting a spread in WD is them keeping silent? Im glad you're not part of the British Secret Service... lol

We will see something again soon, they'll undoubtedly do a video amongst other things, im looking forward to it

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.

Well, that and WD said 'Next Month - Necromunda'....and then it wasn't.

We aren’t at the next month yet though are we? It says next month Necromunda in the latest issue.

Well, I have that expansion - it's full of small, colourful Tyranids (is that really the announced title?).

Mmh, they already ask for photos on FB. Should I post some ugly Marauder Techs?

Prior to any hype whatsoever? Mid to late November strikes me as more likely. After the WD at the very least.

GW posted what this week's preorders are going to be yesterday.

Take with a pinch of salt like all things from managers but my local one claims its the last Saturday of November we are getting Necromunda.

Feels about right, given it's not in this month's WD.

Also coincides with the 40k Open Day at Warhammer World.

Anyone not excited by the artwork needs their brains fixing.

Much 80's very glam, wow.

Well, yes, old pilgrims in the metro harassed by dudes with bionic arms was a thing back then. But I miss the glam.

No need to split the hype, I guess.

I'm all excited to see the other Gangs, spesh my beloved Cawdor.

I'm so with you on this. I know it has been mentioned that GW is going to try to have more gangs than the starter ones available on release, and I'm really hoping that Cawdor is one of them. I'm actually very curious to see what they do with the aesthetics of the gangs not shown yet. Will they choose the Biker Gang or the West Side Story look for Orlocks? While a cool concept as a tech gang, I always thought the Van Saar were really boring visually (Chuck Norris clones in bodysuits.....yah....), hopefully they make make them look a bit more like their artwork and give them a more colorful look. I imagine Delaque and Cawdor will look pretty similar to their last renditions (which is good in my opinion).

We think alike when it comes to aesthetics!

I've always found Orlock and Van Saar the least inspiring of the looks. Nothing that can't be fixed with resculpts though (I mean, look at Goliath. Much more impressive these days).

Now I'm torn though. Gonnna be pretty flush in November. Need to get Necromunda and more terrain (there's no such thing as too much terrain in a collection). But also kind of want a new TV. Current one works fine, but is tiny. And far away.

That appears to be the case. I didn't mind the biker Orlocks, the main problem I had with the original is that they all looked way too similar, not nearly enough individuality. And Van Saar just looked silly. Hopefully you are right and some resculpts add some flavor to those two. I feel you on the money thing, I'm all in on the Relicblade kickstarter that ends this month and we have Necromunda rift around the corner. Of course the only two hobby products I really care about this year come out with 30 days of one another.

I also think we'll get two gangs released along side the boxes set. I remember when they had the NOVA demo they had told people that 4 gangs were complete and more were being worked on. Whether that means they were sculpted or waiting in the warehouse I'm not sure though, but that will be almost three months ago at time of release.

So you have a bunch of games designers. Lets imagine they're employed on a salary of maybe £30-40,000 p/a (does anyone know the base rate for a GW games designer? I'm hoping they get paid more than me, at the very least!).

Oh man, that cracks me up.

Any tidbits you are allowed to hint? Do we see characters return? 'Maddina'*? The 'dude*' from the comics and novels, maybe?
