This is the second Games Workshop preview event of 2017 and the first since the new edition of Warhammer 40,000. Come along to find out about what’s next - from new miniatures and rules to an exciting community announcement. You’ll also have the chance to be among the first in the world to play a demo of another brand-new game. If you only attend one seminar this Nova, it should be this one. SuperNova pass... get it?? Get it!? Glad to see GW doing previews again. Hopefully they won't be outdated already from the time they're shown by only "previewing" items from the next 2-3 weeks.

Absolutely, I'm hoping that we get a Deathguard style preview as something that's six months out and relevant to my interests means I can start putting the pennies away in a jar now!

They'll probably have videos up on WarCom after, they did with the last preview seminar (where we saw the DG video).

Oh do I stay up? I thought the previews wouldn't be till another day.

Work early and im trying to keep my hype in check and just expecting some of the DG miniatures to be on show. Kinda tempted to watch this tough. Maybe new Necromunda gang?

I expect that we'll get news officially from GW after the seminar, maybe in a few days time they'll put up some of the Youtube vids/pics from it but I believe someone earlier in here mentioned no pics/recordings being allowed so we wont get the full seminar unless they record it themselves to show off at a later date?

Here's hoping for some Necromunda news. It would be even better if that's the new game they are demoing and people can give us some insight into the new rules.

Thanks for the thread, ImAGeek

At Adeption we got Twitter text messages live from the seminar, and a few photos inbetween and afterwards. I guess they will show everything revealed after the seminar on WarCom anyway, like last time. Don't worry

I think GW was planning to be a lot stricter this time - at AdeptiCon everyone was filming it and immediately posting it online.

That said, maybe it hasn't started yet as I'm really surprised we wouldn't have text updates at least?

I'll be there tomorrow, hope to see some of you there! Stop by the 3DG / ModCube booth and say Hi

This. The NoVA Open FB page did say that photos and videos were forbidden in the Games Workshop Preview event and the Fantasy Flight Games Panels.

I thought Necromunda was suppose to feature 8E rules and not Armageddon?

Necromunda is back and it’s bigger than ever. This much-loved classic returns this November with a brand new boxed game, complete with two fully plastic gangs, board sections, dice, templates and everything you need to play.

Very excited by all the news coming out if this seminar. Much better than the last one. With three more codexes listed and thousand sons already hinted at, that leaves just one more book to come this year.
The Shadespire, Necromunda and malign portents stuff all looks great.

Well that doesn't look good to me.

So Necromunda has been turned into a miniatures board game?

It's not Yak. Not at all.

Game can do both 'tunnel fighting' and 'spire fighting'. Rules support both.

There's a post on the Warhammer Community page already if you haven't seen it yet:

https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/08/31/a-closer-look-at-necromundagw-homepage-post-2/

The video is easily the best one GW has ever made.

That certainly surprised me as well. At first I thought I was looking at it wrong. I'm not a fan of the original but with all the plastic terrain kits gw has already paid for and released I'm shocked that it's not more multilevel terrain-wise like the original. That terrain was as iconic to the game as tiny cold war apartment complexes were for epic and corridors were for space hulk.
