I think it would look more BA and a bit less silly if they'd used a larger looking magazine. Then again maybe it shoots laser bolts or something and the magazine is actually a battery

Eh, as an old man cosplaying The Winter Soldier, he's not terrible.

Awfully lightweight for "Cable", though. Cable should be the size of the Rock:

Probs does shoot lasers, all for show, or maybe something a bit different. Does have a grenade launcher on there too as well.

Body Mass, Wolverine wins. Height, Hugh Jackman wins.

I forgot that Wolverine is actually pretty short in the comics. But either way, it still proves that actors do not need to be identical to their characters to play them well.

Domino still kind of looks blah. I don't think they've put all the make-up on yet.

I agree, it just sucks it took till Logan to finally get the Wolverine we've been waiting for

Ah, the first time around was OK, as was the second.

The only real clunker was the "Origins" movie.

"The Wolverine" was actually pretty good too.

But yes, LOGAN was great.

I forgot Liefield did any work in the Cable and Deadpool series. He just did cover art, right? I don't remember his work in ANY of the actual "meat" of the issues.

And I don't want Liefield Cable. I'm thinking like Messiah War Cable.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

If you don't want Liefeld Cable you aren't getting the real Cable. Art wise nah, bit overall design and idea, an older warrior that is aging and does time stuff yes.

Exactly. While Liefeld is a hack artist, his Cable is still *the* definitive version of Cable.

Yes, we're talking about 'art-wise' here!

I realize Cable (and Deadpool!) are both Liefield creations. But that doesn't mean there haven't been improved proportion versions of both drawn in comics. Hell, Stan Lee created the X-men; but ask [almost] anyone and they'll say Chris Claremont MADE X-men for them.

I enjoyed the first movie and own it on DVD but I won't be watching the second, and it's entirely because of how much of a feth-up their handling of Domino has been.

Erm, I'm old enough to know that the "Uncanny X-Men" are Kirby creations, when Beast was pink and fleshy, and Iceman looked like a snowball.

Claremont? Kids today. Now get the feth off my lawn!

I wouldn't call Liefeld a hack artist, it eventually got better. I still wont forgive him for that God awful Capt. America though and that one time he tried to copy JoJo.

And there is some worse things than his early art out there these days.

Liefeld was drawing comics with no anatomy background. No necks, ankles or wrists. Definitely a hack.

How has the movie group already fethed up Domino?

They got a rookie stunt woman killed for no good reason.

Ehhhhhh........well........I mean yea........yea I guess I wont argue those points too hard. The Wolverine was actually decent. The only major problem with that one was it should of been R.

Hmm.....and so thats your reason though? A stunt went bad in the real world and so the fake character sucks? Logics.....they make no sense

The character does not suck, the producers suck. Joi Harris looks nothing like the character and has no stunt riding experience or 900cc riding experience, but they picked her over an actual stunt woman wearing white face paint. When that stupid decision gets somebody killed, why would I want to financially reward them for their negligence?

I'll be fine with one that kind of doesn't look stupid right now. The one little paint over her eye looks sort of stupid right now since they aren't making her completely albino... I like the hair though, I like hair style.

There are worse. Hell he still is a pretty big name and his style was pretty common. So everyone is a hack then.

Trust me, the state of comic's these days make you want Liefeld art. I've seen the horrors of modern Marvel.

Yeah; Chris Bachalo should never be allowed near a comic page ever again, unless he's just reading (or doing the buildings around the characters).

A woman dies, but the fact she didn't look like a fictional character is somehow an important detail in this tragedy?

I have no idea why, but I find that one bit disturbing even though the rest of it makes enough sense

This logic is dumb. Even disregarding the bit about the actor not looking like the character (Morena Baccarin didn't exactly look like Copycat either, nor did Ed Skrein look like Ajax), actors are frequently hired to play parts they have no experience doing. She can't ride a motorcycle? I guarantee Ryan Reynolds couldn't do any of the things they did in Deadpool, and even if he did do it with the help of other stunt people, it's his choice, not a requirement. Stunt people are there to do what the actors won't.

A stunt person died? It's tragic, but it happens. They sign up to take the risks the actors won't.

It's important because it's why they hired her. If you have the choice of hiring an experienced white stunt woman or a completely inexperienced black stunt woman to portray this character, who should get the job?

If you never hire someone without experience, how do they get any in the first place? Every stuntman had their first role. It's sad she died during hers.

Because the Vector uses Glock Mags, also it could be .45 Mags

I also noticed this. It's like someone took the bottom of a Vector, slapped an AK stock onto it, the top of an M4, the barrel cover thingy of the AR14 or something like it, and the muzzle break off of an anti-tank rifle XD

Or you know. Whatever any of the proper names for those things are

Its a Thompson stock not an AK stock.

Also the word you're looking for is Shroud, barrel shroud. But thats just a Quad rail.

If this is anywhere near as good as the first one I can't wait to see this.

His gun is apparently several guns that make no sense combined altogether.

It's very faithful to the source material, isn't it?

 JohnHwangDD wrote:

Well, Liefeld created a super-soldier with a Mysterious Past who grimaced a lot, was a badass in a very generic way and used guns--exactly like half the characters he created when he was at Image. A lot of the stuff that came to define Cable as a character was added later by other writers--much like Deadpool.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."
