Yeah but having official GW's Warhammer TV lying to us about plastic Sisters is at least as bad as those rumors.

Well, it's about time we got SOMETHING.

Granted it's for something that literally is going to be coming out in the next few weeks.

Though I'm very curious about that tank that leaked. It looked Forgeworld.

Yeah, you can see part of the word "Forge" on the page, and it's not painted in Ultramarine colours. Pretty decent indicators it's Forge World.

It's Red Scorpions. They were an obscure Chapter that FW has turned into their version of Ultramarines.

Well they look cool, but no official rules and would require a bunch of kitbashing that I don't really want to do.

They could just ummm I don't know, maybe just make actual Squats.

I would literally throw more $$$$$ at GW

Never thought id see a salt thread aimed at a company for not revealing their business strategy.

GW cant reveal releases too far in advance because people may stop buying and start saving for said release.
Also, it allows them a degree of flexibility in their releases, important when your dealing with a horde of overgrown children (see shadow war).

Not really getting what this thread is about. Rumors didn't die out, GW simply teases everything, making rumors irrelevant. natfka is still trying hard, but they were making things up before and still do.

It took them 5 months I think from the teaser video of DG to the actual release. Whenever something new is coming we see it early enough to buy all the old models we are missing in our collection, and that's fine for me. There are always models where you think "Hmm, I don't really need it, but if they should ever put it out of stock I'll have to buy one before it gets replaced." At least that was the case before failcast...

I'm kind of happy we don't get many unofficial leaks. After the PP debacale where it turned out a translation company leaked images of stat cards that didn't have the correct stats at all, I'm kind of leery. Already SpikeyBits and BOLS have been forwarding leaks on release schedules, but most turn out to be 4Chan BS.

I remember back in the day there would be all of these leaks and everyone wanted GW to be transparent with what was coming up. GW has finally learned to accept that this is what people want and we are getting it now. GW is telling us what is down the line ahead of time. They are not pretending social media doesn't exist and the information gets disseminated exactly as it should now. What GW is doing is great and I much prefer it over the rumors that slowly piled up during the course of a year that were sometimes flat out false. Now GW gives us something to look forward to and it's great!

Not strictly true, is it?

Geminae Superia and Saint Celestine are Sisters of Battle. In plastic. If anything, that should tell you they have not been forgotten/abandoned.
