Tagged a Super Exclusive though, $1 backers won't get this in the PM either.

Something is happening on the 24th, we sent you a poster.

Which is good, because it might actually lead to unlocking it.

Nobody would have thought that possible yesterday, or even possible this morning. This has been picking up so much speed, it's incredible ...

Inn not unlocked yet but next goal revealed. That’s the first of the three miniatures, the rest will be revealed later. Think that would make it up to 200 bonus figures?

To note, that's a mini in the likeness of Leo, the guy behind it at. The two other minis will be paying due homage to other personalities in the kickstarter.

As much as I want the Inn, I want the Leo mini so much more

OK ok, I made my pledge now. Maiden plus Siege.
The houses and the castle sold it to me and I´m now sure, that I´m going to sell half of the models. Stuff like the angels, demons and Gog&Magog are not my jam.

So... is this a board game with hex tiles? or a wargame with terrain and stuff? Or like, do you just place one of the houses in a hex to say it's an obstacle or whatever? I saw some pics of models all over the place with lots of terrain, but it feels like 15mm minis would be too small for a 40k-ish kind of playstyle

The final team member will be modeled as a cat though

Its Jake Thornton... he should be happy he still gets work after a couple of his recent shenanigans. ;-)

Just picking up on a couple of things. Whilst ToL is mean to be a series, it's unlikely to be one per year. Mythic Battles looks like it's going to go at least two years between games.

The minis are in high quality PVC. Apparently it's higher quality than the MBP minis, which are pretty impressive already.

Well the inn is... in.

I know I'm in for at least a base and apocalypse. Possibly more.

Showed the campaign to my son, who's first reaction was to ask when they're going to stop playing around in France and get to work on Mythic Battles Ragnarok.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

That's OK, as it's nowhere close to being a pre-ARW Tavern of any sort. The chimneys are absolutely infuriating the way they're done.

This mixed with some Russian folklore (Baba Yaga) is hopefully coming also in 15mm.

This right here is why people hate Historical Guys™. Game has angels and demons and vampires and undead, but the fething CHIMNEYS set you off? Don't be a Historical Guy™

I can accept angels and demons in my games just fine. I can NOT accept fething nonsense chimneys built by/for ordinary humans.

No graphic for this as they are making it all up on the spot but next stretch goal is -

Love the Leo innkeeper! 3 of us went in together to each get a core box and split the majestic add-on package, the value here is just nuts

Jumped in last night. Rules look great. Reminds me of a tinier version of Battlemasters. Sweet looking hex and counter wargame with fun command and control.

"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... " - Rick Priestley "I've decided that I'd rather not have you as a member of TMP." - Editor, The Miniatures Page "I'd rather put my testicles through a mangle than spend any time gaming with you." - Richard, TooFatLardies "We need a Doug Craig in every store." - Warlord Games "Thank you for being here, Judge Doug!" - Adam Troke

2.15M, congrats to Mythic Games! They really were enthusiastic about this game and won a lot of folks over. Looking forward to it

You know what breaks my noodle as well as the chimneys?

The jettying on the buildings!

Sure, jettying is good and historically accurate, but the sculpt is done with brickwork walls on the upper levels rather than wood. No way could the timbers support a jettyed wall made of stone!

Oh yeah, the type of bond on the ground floor stonework is completely unstable, too.

Other than that, I loved, loved, loved this KS. I expected the usual surge at the end, but that was something else entirely.

Bring on Super-Jesus, the Antichrist and the mummified Pope!

Sure, but those are all just half-steps to the 2nd floor stonework/brickwork chimneys that are supported by fething toothpicks. The chimneys are the cherry on the gak sundae of how that building was designed. They're significantly more concentrated weight than the brick walls *and* they're centered farther out from the base *and* they'd be burning hot. It physically can't work.

I dunno, I thing it's just some sort of ensorcelled magic wood that's really, really strong. They used it on all kinds of houses back in the day, but unfortunately the means to create it has been lost to the sands of time.

I noticed the chimneys, but hey, it's a game with lots of fantastical things . Overall the inn looks amazing, imo!

I'm going to be quite capable of moving past the architectural issues with nothing more than a sad smile and a subtle shake of my head.

I'll have more important things to think about, such as how many XP I'll have to aquire to level a hero up to Lucifer-summoning levels and watch my foes tremble in despair!

I've never pledged for a Kickstarter game before. I gave in and submitted a Maiden Pledge in the final hour. I have yet to receive the confirmation email the site said I'd be getting.
Is this cause for concern? If they charge my card late, I would want to cancel due to missing out on the tavern, Gog & Magog.
