Check out what is on the painting table at 3:19 into the video. Looks like the new beast of Nurgle to me....sneeky. Any thoughts?

Considering the glow from the case is also green it sounds like more nurgle stuff is to come indeed. Hopefully this means that since Khorn - Tzeentch and now Nurgle have had big updates its the turn of Slannesh!

Also very humorous video!

Loved the video. Let's see if that really is new model sneak peeked or GW trolling us. Would be nice to get a codex rellease with new models along just for change of pace. Not expecting more models than that though.

This falls quite nicely into the AoS rumour of a Nurgle Battletome sometime in the first quarter of next year. Along with the big rumour that a proper plastic Great Unclean One would be coming.

It could very well be...

It's also reminiscent of the old, old Great Unclean One.

Well at the start of the video "Friday" is identified as a "big" event coming!

Seeing this was deliberate video with GW's co-operation hardly need for panic release

However they might certainly have decided to tie the article together.

Saturday is the first day of the Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament Heat 2. Not sure about Friday.

These things would probably make a good Summon. You drop them near your HQS and they get in into the fun if someone charges you.

So what's in the case? And are all of GW HQ's rooms named after game factions?

I'm placing bets that they're going to flesh out the Nurgle Daemons line with their Codex. The beast, the deca/octoped thing, and GUO.

Bob from war of sigmar said this pearl speaking about the beast of nurgle:

Should be from the next AOS set

Pd, also the new nagash nobel is about nurgle vs death.

Hmm. Kind of points towards another box like Blight War for Malign Portents rather than campaign books an triumvirates like Gathering Storm, doesn't it? I mean, we know from White Dwarf that Malign Portents is next and I don't see them releasing two big things in the same month (the other being a noteworthy daemon update).

Hoping for some actual Death releases other than that herald... like, new ones, you know. with new models and all... like everyone else got... just saying...

I would love a new starter set with Death vs Nurgle. But I assume that would be to much to hope for.

Did you guys know Canada has a friggin desert?

It looks like a face with weird hair on it. Hopefully new pictures will show the creature's better aspects

You're not playing the game like I play it...why aren't you playing the game like I play it?! O_O

It almost looks too small to be a greater demon of nurgle; more akin to a beast of nurgle at that size - and the "hair" would fit as the beast was all cancerous style growths in a tangle.

A greater demon I would expect to be bigger than that.

More tentacles/tendrils than hair. And not really the face, as the slug like body. It's definitely a callback to the older version of the creature, which is really nice. Especially if plastic.

The current version is just a terrible model with no personality.

Beast is nice but I would loooove a plastic GUO of some sort.

I think I can almost make out a crimson tongue wagging out, almost like this old art:

The lost and the damned (which I believe that art is from) described beasts as being almost like big puppies, bounding around the battlefield and happily slobbering all over people, then sadly losing interest when their targets went stiff with paralysis. So maybe they are going back to that?

That is indeed where that picture is from, and yeah. They're aiming for that, or the WHFRPG (1st edition) version which was unsurprisingly similar, since the two books overlapped.
