I don’t follow... why would we want to scoop them up now? You expecting them to discontinue blisters and put them in a box?
Do we really expect JSA to be spun off entirely from Yu Jing? That kind of implies they’ll be getting 2 new sectorials to offset losing JSA.
Do we really expect invincible army and svarlheima sectorials to be fully fleshed out within the immediate future?

Realistically, it doesn't matter how many sectorials a faction has. They are, mechanically, completely separate factions that have some overlapping options in the model pool.

Because the really popular, fairly cool and new stuff tends to go out of stock when Infinity Week hits. Given that the blisters allow for you to build 8 unique Shikami(2 different arm options per model and 2 different head options) between the two, it's also a fairly good buy just for variation's sake. And God help you if the parts are compatible between the two.
The new Contender Shikami is basically a must have though. It's the model that is intended to be your "Duo" profile.
I would be 100% surprised if CB didn't try to plug the hell out of the Shikami during Infinity Week. Trying to make sure anyone who wants them gets them now so as to avoid disappointment later.

Invincible Army is, as far as reports go, 'fairly close'.
Svalarheima isn't. It's going to be finished when finished, same as the PanO version(both of which were slated to be in the same book way back when but who the hell knows now). Automatically Appended Next Post: LunarSol wrote:Infinity is definitely not a game where rebuys are a huge deal; particularly if you're talking a sectoral and not a faction.
I feel like this is a yes/no. For some people it's not a huge deal--especially if there's a lengthy swathe of time between the two and the original product clearly hasn't aged well.

Wish they had released both together. Getting tired of consolidating older single model blister releases into 2 model blisters.

The Delegate isn't in the box art. The S5 Heavy Infantry isn't related to it.
The 'Major' also has the same pauldron as not-Batou.
The designs on those shoulders look nothing alike to me unless you count them both being white designs on red. But it does make sense for them both to be unit/section 9.

Right. One, the 'Major' is a hacker, or at least has a hacker visor ( maybe?), and the other, well its weapon is not seen in the illustration, but I hear that it is a Heavy Rocket Launcher.

Unfortunately no infinity profile will capture the badass that is the Major.

A named character Asura for Aleph would capture the Major perfectly, I think. They're basically the same thing.

With the talk of a Vedic sectorial, I expect some resculpted asuras. CB might name one after a cosplayer, Yashia, who cosplayed the asura. they gave her name to an asura in the HSN3 book too. It would be a dire foe, I'd suppose, rather than a regular character.

Bienvenu, notre ami. Look in more often, and see the cool minis. I bet you would enjoy painting some...
..and posting the photos of the painted minis in your P&M blog (to which I recently subscribed ) It will be win-win. Allez-y!

Well, I bugged my Warcor and he wouldn't let anything slip except that the "preorder" mini for the army pack isn't listed on the leaked image.
Also, he said (and I quote) "PanO players will cry".

Well, maybe at the fact that the Svalarheima sectorial is seemingly delayed, again, and I'll have to wait that much longer for Nisses and Jotum link teams...

riku-gun, might be "6th cadre"
So, that bike rider with the cat (fox?) ears is called "The Black Death" 2nd Lt, Aragato Senkenbutai, 6th cadre.
(I say fox as the "cat" character in JSA is a male while the "fox" character, despite the fluff, is a female, like the rider in the image).
Rigukun simply means "army", for what's worth. The "shoi" part I'm not sure it they're meaning to say "shoui" or "chui", which would be 2nd lieutenant and lieutenant, respectively. Automatically Appended Next Post:
Hm... the "dai" means "great", and it's used when naming organizations. Youkai is a type of spirit/demon. Dengeki usually means "electric shock", whereas "-tai" is a diminutive of "butai", meaning "unit".

There's a heavy correlation between "available to a sectorial" and "available to the generic army" but its not a hard and fast rule by any means. Every army has models exclusively available via sectorial and every army has models available to them that are not available to any of their sectorials as well. Personally, I'd be surprised if things like Ninja disappear from YJ with one being part of the Red Veil 300 pt army.
The point is that it doesn't matter in any way what faction JSA is filed under in the army builder. You play it as its own thing no different from any other faction option. The only difference is you already have a chunk of models that work for another faction if you were interested in doing so.

If we're going to be honest, most PanO players realize they're going to get the shaft. I was the one who initially was suggesting for NCA to get Remotes in Bolt Link Teams along with smaller, multiple Link Teams quite publicly on the Infinity forums before the changeover to the crummy new system. Wasn't shocked one bit to see the idea get stolen for Druze. Many PanO players could, at this point, post up rational and well-reasoned arguments as to why they should or should not be given something and it would be dismissed by certain players as "crying" or "whining. Sadly, many WarCors are those who would be doing the dismissals.

The thing to remember is that a unit like the Ninjas can literally exist in both normal YJ and a JSA renegade faction, since the Ninja "Clans" are a thing that YJ seems to have allowed to continue to exist so they could have deniable operatives. It's like the Bandits and Corregidor; they're a group that effectively could do their own thing but are supplied by the faction as a smokescreen for their own operations.
Alpharius wrote:Just why does CB (allegedly) 'have it in for' PanO players?
Depends on who you ask. Putting it bluntly, it's less that they 'have it in for' PanO players and more they suffer from the fact that CB seems to consider PanO like how they did during their RPG sessions where purportedly PanO were always 'the evil empire' while they played the plucky heroes.
It also seems to be the faction where they have the least designer interest involved so things just kinda...'stay'.

Human Sphere N3 pushed it back.
Paradiso N3(which is where Varuna and the other Sectorials are supposed to be coming in) pushed it back.
Hell, we have a new 'arena fighter' game that came out before the book that was slated to be next.
Yes, absolutely "recent developments have pushed it back".
