A lot of new units have come out for Custodes for 8e, but so far the Forgeworld stuff hasn't been addressed. Does anyone know when they'll add stuff like the super dreadnoughts and super hover tanks to the Custodes 8e arsenal?

GW has already confirmed that some Forge World Custodes units will be made available for use in 40k.

Just give me Gallatus, the one with the Spear, Telemon and Saggitarum. I don't care about the ugly vehicles and flyers!

I want the spear dreadnought... It looks sooo pretty. I will also definitely buy the sword dreadnought, the Telemon and the Sagitarii. And the Pallas. Because the Pallas is totally adorable.
Personally, I hope all the stuff gets ported over. I can see little reason to not do it (unless FW doesn't like selling stuff), and it would make the Custodes into more of an actually playable force on their own instead of just an allied detachment. And who knows, I might even get enough spare money to buy that flyer one day. Just leave the jetbikes, the GW ones look way better.

Of course timeline is another thing seeing FW wasn't even aware of that when they announced it. So don't expect too soon.

Yup. Custodes can get FW units about the same time as everyone else get the new Imperial Armor books... like... 3 years from now.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

while the dreads would make a nice modelling addition, the Coronus and Caladius (or Telemon) have the biggest chance to actually give meaningful quality of life buffs and give us options that we otherwise severaly lack at a more reasonable pricepoint.

the coronus would give us a non-multirole transport, while the Caladius would give us better tools to deal with heavily bubble-wrapped artillery

I'll take whatever they give.

I loves Custards, I does.

Though it would be double groovy if they finally released those alternate spear models, with the different guns mounted on them.

And here I am, thinking that the Custodes grav tanks are just about the only Imperial models that look any good. Different tastes, I guess.

You're an elder player from the looks of your rank and avatar. presumably you prefer the eldar aesthetic. the custodes tanks look too much like eldar or tau designs, they lack the boxy IoM aestetic and thus kinda seem like they don't belong

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

They do match the curvy armor of the Custodian Guard better than the normal Land Raiders though. In a pure Custodes army, they don't seem out of place at all.

As long as those guys with the laser/Bolter things make the move so there's more range support for a pure army, I won't have any complaints.

Strange. Here I was thinking the skimmers covered in exquisite detail look more like they belong than the decade-old glorified cardboard boxes decorated with blank flat panels.

Possibly could this be the reason Fires of Cyraxis has been delayed? New edition dropping, Primaris an Custodes coming out so the had to rewrite parts and jump on the cash cow of shoehorning Primaris and Custodes in.

Heck, we have seen the Primaris superheavy painted in Red Scorpion colours and I understand they are meant to be in Cyraxis.

Could be totally wrong though.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

I actually dislike imperail vehicles too, specially space marines ones. My favourite vehicles are the Tau ones, but in general my favourite vehicles are the smaller ones (Land Speeders, Piranhas, Sentinels, Dreadnoughts, KillaKanz, etc...) . Thats why my imperial armies have the smallest amount of vehicles possible.
