I was gluing some magnets into a dreadnaught arms in some pre-drilled to size holes so I could swap the weapon arms out. As I was lining one of the magnets up it shot out as I had the magnet stack to close (it already had glue on at this point) I quickly grabbed it off the stack to stop it sticking and put it back in the hole. Unfortunately I then got my sides mixed up and this one arm is now repelling from all the others! The magnet is recessed and sitting flush. Aside from cutting the arm apart (which I don't want to do as it's too small and will ruin it) is there anything anyone can recommend to try and release it?

I should mention this is resin, so I don't want to use nail polish remover as I've heard horror stories about it messing with resin. I read about soaking in warm water, but I tried that and I have a feeling it only works for removing glue from the side you can see.

Would heating it carefully with a hair dryer and then trying to get a knife blade in to gently pry it loose work? Or am I basically gonna have to suck it up and glue this arm together

Crisis averted!

For anyone else in the future, hot water plus "pulling at it" with the stack of magnets eventually got it out

I was just going to say I'd recommend hot water and pulling at it!

If you drill a small hole directly next to the magnet you will be able to get something behind to crack the seal and pull it out. Putting it in the freezer and heating back up might also help break the superglue due to differential expansion between the magnet andsurrounding resin

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

The hole next to the magnet to pry from works from my own experience.
The freezing trick I learned the hard way: do not let mixed metal/plastic miniatures get below freezing (say in the car in winter).
Had a really old Vindicator have all the big metal bits fall off.
