Oooh, good call. Had not considered using him in my Deathwatch army. Hopefully his left and right shoulder pad are easy enough to swap around. Now just to check if the Lt is an option in the DW list.

Why are you cancelling now? Or did you not know this was how he looked?

i'm cancelling as the honeymoon period is over and I got 3 free issues. I won't need any of the filthy Chaos stuff so I'm better off picking up the odd issue here and there.

40mm is the base size for the lieutenants and ancient in the Dark Imperium box, so makes sense that this one is also on a 40mm base.
Pre-ordering from Forbidden Planet is probably the best way to go if you want future issues like the Librarian - back issues seem to be selling out straight away on the Hachette website, even for this weeks issue.

Yes they are. I turned mine into a Deathwatch recruit earlier, it just requires some little nubs trimming down on the shoulders to get a closer fit for the pads.

I noticed that the back of issue 6 has the price in GBP, AU$ and NZ$ so looks like it could be expanding slightly.
It’s listed as $19.99 inc GST for AU and NZ, not sure how that compares to your usual prices.

Excellent! The postie turned up today while I was in! No week-long wait to pick it up at the depot this time.
Now, do I paint them along with the magazines and wait for the other paints, or do I just go ahead, buy the highlight colours I need and end up possibly with duplicates?

I got my issues 3-6 from hachette yesterday. I also got my extra issue of issue 5 from Forbidden Planet. Something strange is going on though at FP because issue 5 dispatched on Tuesday, issue 3 on Friday and issue 4 is awaiting stock. That’s all the extra issues I ordered from them, so there may be other strangeness going on.

Just picked up two issues with Death Guard Terminators and Poxwalkers from my local GW store. For that price I might as well start a little Nurgle kill team or such
For 11 quid you get 3 Terminators and 6 walkers, plus a paint and dice. Cannot go wrong there imo

Damn! My bad
Indeed they are Plague Marines. Still cool though and worth grabbing. As I mentioned they could be a good start of a little pack or a addition to an army.
Hope there will be some more Nurgle models in upcoming issues

In addition to subscribing, I ordered 4 more copies of Issue1 as posted previously.
Subscription and one extra copy arrived - 3 copies outstanding.
A week later one more copy arrived - 2 copies outstanding.
Today a larger package containing 4 copies arrived.
I now have 21 Intercessors (will need to convert most of these to avoid too many duplicates).
Also have 7x Macragge Blue, Abaddon Black and Retributor armour - looks like I am basing everything by brush (rather than rattle can) for the forseeable future.

Oh damn. You've got quite some value there. I looked at the hachette website in order to get me some more £1.99 marines, but unfortunately I can't so this now. As for brush basing, I don't recommend it. I live in a flat - I used to live with my parents, nice garden and garage, I could spray freely. I decided to try brush basing in my flat. It's not optimal, even with paint that's apparently designed for exactly this. I'd say give them a light spray at least, then brush on top.
p.s, you need any nurgle?

Ah yes, sorry I wasn't very clear on that. I will be priming black with a rattle can. After priming, I had considered picking up a can of Macragge Blue spray to do the basecoat with, but will now brush the basecoat on due to the mass of Macragge Blue I now have in pots.
And I've just about given up on airbrushing, having wasted too much of my life trying to get it to work. Spent more time cleaning than painting with the airbrush and even when I bought a decent airbrush rather than the cheapo chinese stuff, I just had constant problems that I wasn't able to resolve. For the sake of my sanity I returned to rattle can and hairy brush.
Sorry for the off-topic.

Not too many frilly bits to do, so he painted up quick alongside the Reivers. Put together some quick notes about him in the 'Conquest Journal': https://ttgamingdiary.wordpress.com/2018/10/02/conquest-journal-reivers-and-a-new-lieutenant/

Similar experience. Not subscribed though.
Ordered 6x issue 1 from their online shop.
1 copy arrived and late.
Then a week or two so later another single copy arrived.
Then Saturday I received a box with the complete 6 I ordered. As I paid express delivery but the whole process took a month to complete I'm going to call it evens. I'm going to presume good faith and treat it as an act of goodwill for the earlier problems.
