We are getting two lots of 5 cultists further down the line, although they could potentially be combined onto a single issue.
I'd expect that they'll give us the contents of Know No Fear soon - those models are all over eBay so not especially high value, but very useful for new players to build the armies up to a decent size and start playing ~1000pts games.
They can save the rest of the Dark Imperium sprues for later down the line.

Ah I was thinking 10 cultists from the Dark Vengeance which are all different, but you may be right yeah.. Automatically Appended Next Post: I think yeah it will soon be the Know No Fear and DI stuff, whether it’s the ones from one first then other or mixing up, seen as much crosses over anyway.
Then ETB remaining bits..
Then all those high cost characters and vehicles all a bit later.

The Dark Vengence cultists are mixed in with other chaos and space marine parts on the spru which is why they only released the 5 model kit for general release so I can’t see them redoing the spru at this time for conquest.

It has Death Wing Terminators, Raven wing bike squad, hellbrute and choasen chaos marines that were not shown as part of the Conquest contents and would be very unlikely to be as they don’t fit the theme.

Each issue is based around what’s in it, so a mix wouldn’t work, but also there’s lots irrelevant on that sprue from the Conquest contents.
Aeneades, yeah I forgot that sprue is a mix one. Are the cultists the same in the 5 box? If not, then I don’t have them so that’s great.
On that note, the Dark Imperium stuff would need to be recut too wouldn’t it? Guys I need a bit of advice
I know there has been 5 or 6 issues of Coquest out already. I got issue 2 and 4 from the local GW store but I was not aware that if you subscribe and get them delivered regularly you get quite a bit of freebies like tools and paints.
Question is - if I subscribe now, will I start getting issues from number 1 and so on and at the same time I'll be getting all the free stuff as advertised? Or will they start sending me the magazines from the current, newest magazine?
I live in UK so hope any other UK players might help me out here

There isn't a full list but info will put up here as folk get it, they tend to talk about whats coming next in the conquest videos on facebook/youtube
5 was the LE Primeris Lieutenant
6 another set of the 3 easy build Plague Marines
7 2 big pots of wash (agrax and nuln oil)
8 Primeris Librarian
these are set as we've seen the printed stuff/back of the previous issue
9 another set of the 6 easy build pox walkers
10 Myphitic Blighthauler
These two are probably in this order but as they've only been mentioned there's a chance they could be the other way round Automatically Appended Next Post: Blooddragon1981 wrote:Guys I need a bit of advice

Looking on the subscription page it looks like you start with issue 1, my guess is you'd get delivery 1 (1&2) delivery 2 (3,4,5 & 6) at once then kick into the standard schedule from issue 7 onwards of 4 mags a month in a single package

Thanks for the info. I'll get in touch with the and clarify what options do I have
What bothers me is that it seems that there are the same units included in different issues and some issues just include paints. I thought that all issues will include different minis and a paint as well. Seems that GW is not that generous after all

there is some duplication but not a huge amount, what you'll eventually have is shown above (you should be able to see what they are with a bit of squinting) Automatically Appended Next Post: on and this chap breaks down a rough estimate of the savings https://vincentknotley.wordpress.com/2018/08/22/warhammer-40000-conquests-rumoured-value/ for the minis alone he says For the grand total here, based on the estimates I’ve shown above, Warhammer 40,000: Conquest in miniatures alone is worth £876. That… that’s a lot of money. A lot of saving too! If you take on the premium subscription you save £131 and if you go for the basic subscription you save a whopping £251! so if you want both armies and the terrain it's smart buy, with the paints, brushes, dice and card mats adding value to an extent (if you need/want them), the premium subscription doesn't seem worth the extra spend if you've got any gaming experience (especially as we don't know all of whats in it)

If you compare the price of the entire magazine range with the cost of buying them from GW, and to a lesser extent online retailers, you are getting a hefty discount. It's only a real bargain though if you are interested in having everything shown on the poster above.
I know I'd rather pay £7.99 than £22.50 for a Primaris Librarian for example.
As issues 1 - 4 were in the shops, I believe you may be able to start your sub from issue 5 onwards. When you subscribe with Hachette, you will be able to choose your starting issue from the drop down menus.
As for repeat minis, there are alternate colour schemes (initially for Death Guard) listed in the magazines or try some arm swaps. I've been buying bits from eBay so I have some Reivers with bolt carbines and alternate arms on the Intercessors.

Be aware if you subscribe of the small print which is in the letter they mail you.
They mail out binders at intervals, at extra cost , and there will be 'special issues' with no specified price in addition to regular issues, so the cost saving may not be accurate.
Yes you can return unwanted mailings, but this was enough for me to decide I really cannot be bothered as the company does not have a great reputation dealing with returns and billing.

I'm pretty sure when push comes to shove on a credit card you still control it too. Even if there are "misunderstandings" from their billing department, you can complain to Visa (or more likely the bank that's issuing your Visa) that you're being defrauded. I had to resort to this with a small company once. I had my money back in less than 24hrs. It might be a lot more difficult if you're disputing a charge with a big guy like Amazon or someone like that. Hachette, IDK, logically it should be easy, but in practice might be a bit of a bitc*. A few pages back some people were saying that this is long term value only, not short term. I'm of the opposite view. I don't really want most of the stuff on offer, a few DG minis is ok, but if you don't specifically want Marines + DG, and you aren't planning to re-sell your unwanted stuff, I think there's little value overall, and personally I'm dropping out after the Librarian (as an early sub I got 4 free issues, so unsubbing at issue 7 gives me a lot more value than seeing this thing out until the end).

Id say that’s precisely why they said it’s long term value, as you’d get two armies over the course of it etc etc.
But only good value IF you want it, there is if course no value if you’re buying things you don’t want (I also think resale at that point won’t be a viable option, as saturation may make a lot of the stuff in this worth less than £8.. except characters and clam shells and big stuff and such.
Bear in mind if you unsubscribe when you receive 7-10, their clause of 28 day cancelling may mean you’d be on track for receiving 11-14 too..
(Though perhaps that’s when the control of your DD comes in and prevents it, I’m not sure what Hachette are like in this regard).

I'd say the subscription is of absolutely no use to you.
Keep an eye on this thread, see what is coming in the next couple of issues and if you're interested in any, hop to the Hachette or Forbidden Planet websites and order individual issues.
I picked up an extra Lt Calsius via Forbidden Planet.

Yep fair point. The only value is in the plastic, and only then if you want all the plastic (I don't. I'll use some of the paint, but even then, I'm still getting dupes of stuff that I already have, for the most part). The "Magazine" such as it is is of very limited value to anyone. Even total beginners can get a lot more, for free, just by logging onto Dakka or a similar site. I didn't know that they planned to send out binders, at additional expense to me, to store this almost valueless pile of cardboard. "Here, buy some boxes, to store stuff you don't need or want" . Thanks for letting me know about the cancellation period. Looks like I'll have to get onto them sooner rather than later (And definitely before they send me any binders
