I would be happy to sell on my magazines for a nominal fee (50p each?) plus postage at cost. Have been saving them purely because it seems a waste to chuck them out, but I don't need them.

I'm sure I'll have some of them. They're yours if you cover the postage.
I'm away right now, but drop me a PM next week and I'll see what I have.

This was expected, during early conversations with Hachette I asked about hidden add ons, because I specifically asked they were obliged to answer, this is the first of two books at extra cost we get during the project. I suspect the second is the full rulebook.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

I understand the Silver Templars book is the second add on. I've already received an UM/ Death Guard art book that was preceded by an opt out letter.

More local W H Smiths actually puts them out a day early, on Tuesdays, so I can often grab a spare copy. Some weeks they don’t receive any copies at all though.

you might try the reddit r/warhammerinstructions
I've found it useful when I can't be bothered looking for assembly guides or for older kits/ones I've bought as sprues.

Just a reminder that tomorrows (41) & next weeks issue (42) make up the plagueburst crawler... not sure which order the sprues will be in
so if you want to get a preorder in to forbidden planet, or haunt the Hachette single issue site to order direct, or if you know a newsagent who are still putting issues on the shelves they're no doubt going to be very popular

I've just had an email from forbidden planet to say they've just dispatched 41 & 42 together. It's the first time they have sent a pair of issues together to me.

Yeah me too.
I ordered, 38, 41, 42, 46.
38 came separate, obviously 46 will.
But nice to see these two together.

Put issues 41 and 42 under the "I completely forgot I ordered them" file. As with everyone else they are being sent out together, and it will complete my trifecta of PCB's.

For £16 each? Yes I did. Sod magnetising them when you can get them at that price.

Its a pity the book isn't a 'mini codex' as well, maybe no units you are not getting models for in this, or only a few as hints to go out and buy them, but throw in a custom chapter tactic, a few warlord traits and maybe a special rule or two, nothing earth shattering just something to make it more than something that (maybe) gets glanced through

can't blame you for wanting to get a bargain, but at the same time I'm betting that the majority of people that bought multiple copies are planning to ebay some or all of them.
And why not? It's a free country, and that's how capitalism works.
At the same time I can't help but feel sorry for all of the people who wanted one and haven't been able to get one.
This is one of those times where I feel that GW/hatchette/forbidden planet should have limited the amount of copies that one customer could buy, but I'm not sure how that could be enforced.

I'm getting multiples of many various issues, but then I've given my newsagent a list/order for how many of each issue as they come out for the first 30 (we'll up to #11 today). If it wasn't for me, they wouldn't be stocking it at all. I have to assume there are more people in a similar situation with an "order" in at their local.
Anyone with a direct sub (or multiple subs) isn't preventing anyone from getting anything. The only potential problem would be if a newsagents were getting in a few each week for randoms to buy, but with partworks, I feel like by the time you get to issue 41 most casual purchasers will be long gone.
