The opt in/ out art book and Silver Templars background book that were initially only available to subscribers ended up on the Hachette website.

Slight chance that the paint guide and transfers could do the same?

I mean, depending on who owns the Silver Templars IP - and I think that'll be GW - there's no reason they couldn't make the transfer sheet available through their webstore.

Maybe contact Customer Services and let them know there may be a demand for the product?

Anyone got issues 78 yet? What coming after 78?
I am on 74 and can’t wait for 75-78.

Yeah I checked in the shop, one sprue of platforms. So possibly (presumably) two sprues in the final issue.

Anyone else used the transfers and painted up the Silver Templars? I gave it a swing:

Does anyone know if the magazine is just ending after 80, being essentially replaced with Mortal Realms?

Or might we see another 40K magazine at sme point?

There’a nothing in the pipeline publicly about any further 40k publications. That is of course not to say there won’t be more, it seems like this was pretty successful, at least for Hachette. I guess GW will have to do some analysis and see if the new players are worth it over the cannibalised sales.

I've had no letters hinting at such and Forbidden Planet have none on their website past 80.

It's not impossible that there could be another run. Hachette ran two releases for their Marvel Graphic Novel line.

Personally my wishlist would be for a second run in the future containing the easy builds and sprues from whatever Dark Imperium gets replaced with.

What you would have to factor in are there anymore easy build stuff that could cover two army's , remember a good chunk of the early issues were dark imperium rereleases

Yeah I don’t see there being another one any time soon.

Maybe we’ll see a LotR one, but with its prices now, and again lack of any ETB, I’m not so sure on that either.

We shall see in about 10-12 months time as Mortal Realms gets to the point it’s winding down (about where it got announced in Conquests timeline).

The final issue does have two terrain sprues. It's the support columns and the octagonal platforms. Very good value at £4 per frame, but unfortunately they've not got them available at FP online, slightly annoying as I probably would have picked up a few spares at some point if they had.

They just extended the Transformers one by twenty volumes, I'm actually quite surprised they aren't doing the same here, but it appears not.

I feels like some Plaguebearers or the Death Guard Space Marine Heroes would have worked, and the loyalists could have had the easyish build Vanguard models.

I was expecting a small extension to cover a few allied units and new terrain. Not that fussed that it hasn’t come about though.

I expect Mortal Realms will be easier to extend due to having more easy to build units available for other factions.

I have seen that other companies are starting to pay attention to this distribution model with a Star Wars legions magazine being trialed in some parts of Europe (issue 1 is Vader and 3 rebels for 1.5 euro.

Yeah, but we don't get the chunky machinery part. So it's not actually the full kit like everyone was hoping.

If we get something else it could be Warcry or Kill Team focused. Give people a bunch of smaller forces over the course of the subscription rather than two big ones.

It could also be a viable distribution model for Underworlds? Every warband is two ETB sprues plus cards and sells for about £16. Easy to split over two issues. Only issue is you'd need a lot more different paints- but that could be viable as the minis themselves wouldn't be at much of a discount. Average month could be sprue one, sprue two, three paints, cards. With the occasional extra board, dice, tokens, terrain pieces etc.

I'm fairly certain that anyone that bought all issues got the whole thing, as far as I remember the one in Knight Renegade was 4 sprues, which is what the full sub provides.

That would be £32 for a warband plus 3 paints, which is paying quite steeply over the odds compared to just buying them from GW.

That would be brilliant! Killteam focus can get all factions and lots of territory for cityscape.

Is there anywhere I can find a full list of the paints that come throughout the subscription? I'm currently about half way through.

Just trying to figure out what paints I should buy and what ones I can hold off on.

I don't have a list to hand but search for Warhammer Conquest on the Forbidden Planet website, select the Out Of Stock option on the side menu and they may still have all the issue covers listed. The majority of paints were named on the covers.

Concentrate on the artwork covers but some don't state on the cover what paints were received.

The five most recent from 64 onward are:

Astrogranite (second pot)
White Scar
Cadian Fleshtone
Nurgle's Rot
Nihilakh Oxide.

Actually, it's raining and I'm bored so additional to the ones above:

31. Celestra Grey
36: Recess Shading, no colour listed.
37: Plasma effects so I'm assuming that was Thousand Sons Blue and Temple Guard Blue
40. Layer Paints ( Calgar Blue?)

Over to others but I'm sure these were part of the collection:

Necron Compound.
Stormhost Silver
Wild Rider Red
Nurgling Green
Ogryn Camo
Corax White?
Reikland Fleshshade

My next delivery comes with #49 which has Ogryn Camo, Dawnstone and Calgar blue. Dunno about Nurgling Green though.

So far I'm at:

and

Now, I have purchased multiple copies of some issues and there are extras such as Space Marine Heroes Series 3 and the Plague Daemons. Additionally, I have to gather together the Primaris painted up as UMs and I haven't even touched the terrain yet but, two armies for a significant savings on even discounted retail has left me a happy camper.

Whoa. Is that started with Conquest or you already collect plague before Conquest?

I was think about buying blight terminator and Morty.

The majority is through my Conquest sub and buying extra issues from Forbidden Planet.

The Plague Daemons are from the Start Collecting box.
