miniholic wrote: @Low_K: Your compliment to MaxMini for the handling of the KS The Green Alliance can not be shared by me, as I'm still waiting - after about 4 years!! - for them to deliver the pledge!
And now also to get lied at by them! A month ago they promissed me to finaly send me the complete pledge, with some extras as excuse, within two weeks and inform me when having send it off. Nothing happened up to now. And now they don't even reply to my mails anymore. Well I can understand that. It's more important to Aleks to post here.
Realy sorry that I'm not able to share your enthusiasm for how they handled/handle this KS. Maybe you were a lucky one and didn't pledge in this KS.
I in turn am sorry that you still haven't received anything. I did actually Pledge the Kickstarter and I too waited a very long time before finally receiving my Pledge (I got it in April 2017 which is 3 years wait). I do still compliment them with not abandoning the project, as some other Kickstarter projects did, although I can imagine it feeling this way reading your reply. I hope Maxmini can remedy your problem and deliver the Pledge as the miniatures are really good quality and unique. So hopefully all will be sorted soon.
@Aleks: Coming back to your weight based shipping; 3 Scrap tanks with you costs €20 shipping. The 3 new Halftracks from Kromlech (which I suspect are about the same weight) cost €9 shipping. This I meant with a flat shipping price. But looking into free shipping over an amount would be much welcome as my cart I am eyeing is a little over 1 kg and while the total price is €167, I get a hefty €41 on shipping

Automatically Appended Next Post: @Aleks: as you are online, could you please be so kind and answer my mails?! Please!
PM-ed you about you and I'm sure Aleks will poke you as well after the weekend. We need a bit more info - can't find you with just forum nickname.
I'll check whether your package has been sent when we'll have this info - and will speed things up if it has not. Each week there's a steady stream of pledges (sadly not as big as I wish) being sent - we're getting close to having this done (basically majority of those left are the ones where we can't get in touch with the person who made the pledge and/or we have incomplete shipping details etc). Hopefully those get sorted soon so we could start having part of TGA as regular release.
@miniholic Please check your email's inbox - reply should be waiting there for you and your pledge is already on it's way. You should receive it this week if there won't be any delays due to the postal services. Cheers!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Here's a final (hopefuly!) render of our incoming Desert Dwellers troops
There's a huge demand on our Desert Dwellers heads, so we hope you'll all enjoy a complete set of these.
Hope we'll post some early 3d prints soon so you guys can see how cool they'll be!
Any thoughts? Comment and share!

This weekend only (monday included because why not?) all our ork and goblins related products are 20% OFF!!!
Headswaps, weapons, big guns, vehicles - all of these are covered by promo.
Some of the items can be found on the poster, but a full list of products is available under the link below:
Hey! In case you missed it, here's our new miniature - fresh out of the oven!
Monowheel Androbot is surely a speedy fella and you can always count on his helping hand... or a buzzsaw arm, it's your choice! This brilliant fusion of human flesh and robotic technology was once a human, but his memory has been wiped, reprogrammed and cybernetically - enhanced to serve as a mercilless, close combat killing machine.
Designed and sculpted by Justyna, who is also resposible for our Inquisitoress Amelia Blackbourne and Putrid Knights Helmets, so happy to have her in our team
Don't be shy, give us a shout what you think about the model!
skarsol wrote: Maybe it's the hat but the scale on that one seems really weird to me...
I agree. The head, weapons and boots seem way too large. It gives me the impression of a child Commissar rather than an adult. I know heroic scale exaggerates the scaling of heads, weapons and hands/feet but this model seems overly exaggerated in those areas.
Still, I feel GW has started to occasionally turn to more reasonable proportions (like Genestealer cult and non-Goliath necromunda gangs) so third parties should take the opportunity to err on the side of (for lack of a better term) realism.
Is it just me or does Maxmini barely release anything new these days? Kromlech has a steady flow of stuff, but Maxmini seems to have slowed to a trickle.

I think the kickstarter kicked their butt.
Aye, I think the Kickstarter stalled their releases tremendously. Now that the KS is finally fulfilled, I hope they release some more stuff more regularly.
@Aleks: Will you guys expand on those desert dudes? Release some commanders, heavy weapon teams etc. You could fill the gap GW left when they discontinued the Tallarn.
The current release is great stuff for a Tallarn kill team btw...

We've also put a "making of" article on our blog, so you can check out early skeches, concepts, 3d prints and also some obstacles we had to struggle with
@Low_K regarding add-ons and expanding this unit... we haven't really thought about it yet, but heavy/special weapon squad sounds like a good idea! There's one melta and one commander in this unit, but some other weapon options will surely diversify these models.
Also answering the question about our current releases: yes, KS project slowed us down quite a bit, but we're pretty much back on tracks and will put out more of our stuff!
We've already came up with some new ideas, but I don't want to spoil the surprise Just keep your eyes peeled - you surely won't regret it.
Oh wow. Suddenly I want to do an Astra Militarum Kill team... where can I see an exact list of components? Does it come with more special weapons than the Melta Gun (?) pictured? Or would GW weapons fit them? For a Kill Team you need a LOT of special weapons Plasma, Flamers, Snipers...

I'm literally crunching some numbers on a team for them right now Have always had a soft spot for Tallarn, and these outstrip the old metals with ease. (But yea, more special weapons / snipers please!)
If it matters, here's the description of this set: "This set contains 10 multipart miniatures. Designed to work with most popular 28mm "heroic" miniatures ranges. Contains 8 regular trooper torsos (4 variants), 1 sergeant, 1 special unit torso, 10 different (interchangeable) head variants, tab with extra bits. Supplied unpainted. Round bases included."
EDIT: Came up with a limited list I'd be happy to get started with using just this kit - sarge, 3x meltas, 12 guardsmen (3x 4 variants, 1 with vox)
- Salvage
