I'm partial to the greenish tinted ones. I used Athonian Camoshade; but that's because I batch-painted the Poxwalkers from a Dark Imperium set using it over a Corax White primer coat.

Make sure you use some Ushabti Bone and Blood for the Blood God. They'll be fantastic for the little maggots that are running around. Apply a bit of Blood for the Blood God over the buboes and sores after you've washed with Athonian and then cleaned it up a bit with some Rakarth Flesh and you'll get a neat effect too.

Would love to see more of the grey/green ones. White on those minis looks a bit bland/undone to me. Maybe if you spotted on slightly darker wash into those more recessed areas.

My vote from what I could see would be for the grey ones. Anyway, clearly your skills have been retained over the past 4 years. Well done!

The white's actually my favourite, the yellowy brown of the sores stands out against it nicely.

Thanks bud the middle ones actually a pale yellow, the spots on him are like a sickly greenish yellow, Its the photos that make it seem washed out :/ Someone recommended doing squads with different skin tones to differentiate from units, which I like the idea of! Think I'll do 20 Brown, 20 Yellow, and the rest will be green (green can be my "resurrected" ones from killing infantry)

I used Rotted Flesh (or whatever its called) for the bone spikes, and actually washed all the maggots with purple. I do like the ideas you put out, Rakarth Flesh, is that a GW wash?

Looking good to me. The new Nurgle guys all have loads of little details you can spend ages embellishing but you've got a nice tabletop ready finish to them already. I always say I'm going to paint a batch of models quick and easy, and then find myself going back over them again and again...

Take a look at what I've been painting and modelling: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/725222.page

Rakarth Flesh is part of the "new" GW(relatively--it's way after Rotted Flesh, if you're still using the old screwtop paints) paint range. It's a base paint(higher pigment amount) that is commonly used by GW to do pale flesh.

Have you checked out GW's Paint App? You absolutely should if you haven't.

This is true, when I painted models before, I did paint EACH. INDIVIDUAL. PIECE. And sometimes the results weren't very cohesive... I'm not a pro-painter by any means, but I definitely agree quick painting does have good results!

Downloaded it... where has this been my whole life?! So buying some of these paints, haha. I also got the recommendation to buy Tamiyra Gloss in red/green for ooze and blood, which I'm gonna do as well!

If you don't want to muck about too much with the Tamiya Gloss stuff...

Waywatcher Green glaze can be used for ooze and Blood for the Blood God is pretty great. I'll have to see if I can get some pictures of the ones I painted sooner or later.

I like the cream colored ones the most. If I had to give any criticism I would say to use a few more colors to break up the main skin tone. Paint in the eyes (It needn't be complicated given they're zombies) and teeth to give it more "personality".

If this is a speed painting job, though, they look really good for what they are supposed to be!
