Just curious... I'm more of a hobbyist and really like the models. While I don't play AdMech, I wouldn't mind having one or two of those to play around with in an Imperium list.

From what I've been told, by a reliable source, the armiger and plastic cryptek will only be available in forgebane, "For some time"

I like to say I have two armies: Necrons, and Imperium.....

The only official responses have been entirely non committal.

But I would be very surprised if they didn't get a kit eventually with other weapon options!

They'll eventually get a separate kit. These sorts of bundled minis always do. It'll probably just be at least 6 months, if not longer, down the line.

If you want the Armigers now, try to find someone to split a box with, or check eBay. I'm betting a large number of Forgebane boxes will get parted out on eBay almost immediately. Dominus models will probably be super cheap.

They will probably come out in a separate box, but not any time soon. Maybe by the end of the year? /shrug that's a total guess.

However, as individual boxes, they will probably be in the US$75-$100 range, meaning two of these will cost more than the price of Forge Bane.

Armigers will likely stay a standalone option until the Knight codex. That way GW can bundle them together and add an incentive to go in on Knights.

Beyond that, BOLS has a piece up today (don't go to the website, mostly garbage) about how the sprues are clearly missing other sprue sections, which is obviously more weapons.

Blood Angels, Custodes, Tzeentch, Alpha Legion, Astra Militarum, Deathwatch, Thousand Sons, Imperial Knights, Tau, Genestealer Cult.

I have a problem.

Being contrary for the sake of being contrary doesn't make you unique, it makes you annoying.

yeah they manage to provide some examples of heads shown on the instructions that aren't in the box, and note the weapons sprue is listed as "B" with an "A" not missing. my guess is Sprue A will include the Imperial shoulders and another weapons type.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Almost guaranteed. Because they will be sold individually at a premium.

Expect a Knight collecting box with a Knight and two of these chaps included, or some variant.

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

They will...and will be massively more expensive. The real interest is what future Armigers will be available. Once any other weapon options are released, the "starter box" Armigers will likely all be cut up and modified.

Was on eBay before, several well known bitz sellers are already putting up each half of Forgebane for preorder.

I was gonna say it's probably going to be like the Chaos helbrute. The first plastic one was the only one available for some time then they made a new kit for it with all the fixins and poseable.

Without a doubt.

The actual sprue for the armiger has the weapons on a separate sprue and it isnt a snap fit model so im expecting it to be released separately with either the extra weapon options in the box with a big price bump or you will be able to buy several different boxes. Im expecting 1 box with different options because it lets them save on space and charge a higher price.

Proof that there is more Armiger stuff coming... http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2018/03/40k-the-curious-case-of-the-missing-armiger-bits.html

tl;dr there are head options shown in the instructions that aren't in the Forgebane box, and the current weapon sprue is marked "B" but there is no "A".

Hence, there is an "A" weapons sprue with 2 extra heads that will be in the box with the model when it sees full release.

The units in the Triumvirate boxes took almost (or even more than) a year to be released by themselves, so I'd take that as an approximate

More in some cases, the Eldar trio still aren't available separately.

I'd say that's a bit unlikely imo, as I think we are looking at a situation more akin to the DG/Primaris stuff from the launch of 8th. More limited versions of upcoming models in a starter box.

For that reason I'd expect them to come out with a stand alone version sometime shortly after the IK codex drops. Admittedly that could still be a month or two after, and the IK codex is likely to be one of the last given they have a presence in the admech codex as well. So... probably September at the latest would be my guess.
