I haven't played Khorne in 8th but previously packing plenty of Bezerkers with distraction Carnifexes like Spawn and a Blood Slaughterer worked.

Surprised no one mentioned 5th edition Rhino Rush! That won me a lot of games.

I don't remember plasma being as prevalent as it was back then, but there were plenty of ways to pop a Rhino. 30 of 40 Berzerkers packed into Rhinos was just about unstoppable, so long as you were getting your charges.

For support units, Blood Slaughters are wicked cool. I remember someone doing the points for them once and finding they were not as efficient as Maulerfiends.

But... it's World Eaters... you are not playing for points efficiency. Running up the board is a big risk, you might as well look the part.

I'd be interested in that math.

Is it possible to easily convert a SM Rhino into a Chaos Rhino without having to buy any extra bits? Or do I need the chaos bolter, spikes, and ornamentation before I can run it as a Chaos Rhino?

Thanks

Its literally just an extra sprue. If you have bits, slap them on yourself, because otherwise youre wasting money on essentially nothing rules wise.
