I should think so. Shipping would be insane, but cheaper than the aftermarket prices these days. And if it is available, I do thoroughly recommend it. It is a seriously impressive game board/figure.

Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?

Sweet! I enjoy that game, more product is fantastic news!

Maybe instead of a reprint of the giant Cthulhu, they'll have a different giant figure?

The blurb on the pre-Kickstarter page states:

"Humanity's biggest fear is back! Face new monsters, insanities, and rules in this brand-new, standalone Death May Die core box."

Having never purchased the original Death May Die, I don't know which Lovecraft creatures this game has already referenced. Are there any "new monsters" that fans of the series are particularly expecting or hoping to see this time around?

Given that creating Lovecraftian monsters is just a matter of sticking a few tentacles on a tumor-like body, it's never hard to come up with more. But as I recall they did do all the big ones.

I've heard sooo many good things, but missed the original KS. Sadly the game and especially expansions seem sold out everywhere. I'm sorely tempted to pay scalper prices...

I know CMON tends to never reissue KS exclusive content which is a bummer, as I would love this new campaign to offer a reprint of all the original stuff.

Can anyone who has played the original a good bit speak to its replayability/value? Is this one of those insanely excellent games where a $500 investment feels justified?

Marvel Zombies Retail: $35 on Amazon : https://smile.amazon.com/Spin-Master-Marvel-Zombies-6062212/dp/B09NF5P6YM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=21309NTRGRHK

Retail version has ten plastic miniatures, and standees for bystanders and zombies. If you have modern Zombicide, you should be able to use zombies from that game.

If it's like Marvel United, price will drop.

EDIT: Thanks, Aeneades!

Death May Die on BGG : https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/253344/cthulhu-death-may-die/forums/0

I skipped it because of the sculpts, and it being yet another dice-chucking miniatures game.

That version of Marvel Zombies isn't the retail edition of the Kickstarter, that will come later.

Instead it's a smaller separate intro game called "Marvel Zombies: Heroes’ Resistance". You play as the heroes (6 to pick from) and has 4 zombie heroes. All new sculpts and stat cards (stat cards are simplified but compatible with the main game). Has 4 tiles so smaller map sizes.

CMON have put up the first digital mission for it on the website this week as well so will hopefully get ongoing digital support.

Are they the same sculpts as the KS, or alternate ones?

All are alternate sculpts but some are not that different to the KS sculpts.

Links added above to backerkit, about €115 for the set I need to think about it that's the price of a full Zc KS pledge these days. It's open for about a month anyway plus retail is an option later. Still waiting on Thundercats

Wife and I get our all-in Death May Die Monday, so we'll give it a few plays before we make any decisions on the Eddie Bundle. On one hand, I hear Insanity Cards add a lot of flavor to plays of DMD, but $90 shipped is a lot when we literally only want one game's content from each pack (we HATE Zombicide).

Rumor from a recent tradeshow is that they'll have second chances at EVERYTHING from the first KS. Very unlike CMoN, but would be nice for a game whose popularity only exploded after the original KS.

That would be incredible. All I'm missing now is the Unspeakable box!

The comic they did was decent too. I'm looking forward to more fun. I like the game so much I might even get the garden gnome size Cthulhu statue!

I'm missing the comics and the models that game with it, so those are what we're hoping for.

I see the Boys packs are turning up at retail £35 each but with 20% discount they are £28.50 so around €34 for 1 or €68 for both packs. Cost me €100 for the preorder won't be doing that again the exclusive Homelander isn't worth the extra €32

So to clarify - this would mean that you can now get everything in this KS, just needing (presumably) to pick up the original core box at retail?

Season 1 and Season 2 and the Black Goat of the woods are being reprinted for retail according to KS update. So if you want everything and are starting from zero, you need all the new content from this campaign plus the unspeakable box from this KS. Then you pick up Season 1, Season 2, and the Black Goat expansion from retail.

I guess you also need to pick up the Ryleh Rising expansion from this KS if you wanted absolutely everything.

Another bonus of this is that the investigator minis are a bit chunkier and better sculpted than Zombicide minis(at least compared to Z: Invader, which is the one I own).
