See DaveC's post above. The numbers are in Singapore Dollars, he's got it converted to be S$0.9m (USD$0.69m).
Good point, but I still think 2700 sq feet is small for the price, so I suspect it was a larger space.
Or I don’t understand somethIng about Singapore office space costs.

Singapore squeezes 6 million people into less than 750 square kilometres. There's only so much an extra floor can do before floor space becomes extra spicy premium.

Kowloon Walled City welcomes the illustrious CMON and Hasslefree Miniatures as its newest potential residents! Gutter oil dumplings and re-refried mystery meat sticks will be served at 6pm!
Obviously joking...

CMON have now sold the Cthulhu Death May Due licence including fulfilment of the current Kickstarter. Not sure what’s happening about Dark Providence as that was meant to be days away from shipping, son hopefully still being dealt with by CMON.
We’ve announced today that the "Cthulhu: Death May Die” IP has been acquired by asmodee, which also means that this project and associated data are being transferred to asmodee. This exciting change will help ensure the best possible support and continued development for the “Forbidden Reaches” project.
What does this mean for you?
We are undertaking the necessary technical steps for Asmodee North America, Inc. to fully replace CMON as the Creator. For backers, almost nothing changes, your pledges and rewards remain exactly as planned. That said, delivery will be delayed, but rest assured: asmodee’s top priority is to deliver the game you’ve been waiting for with the quality and care it deserves. We appreciate your patience and continued support as we make sure everything arrives in the best possible condition. Stay tuned for more updates from asmodee once the transition is in place!
If you wish to object to the transfer of this project and associated data, please contact CMON via https://cmon.zendesk.com within the next 10 days (by 30 October 2025). Otherwise, references to CMON should be seen as references to asmodee and its partners.
We’ve absolutely loved bringing this game series to life over the last several years, and genuinely appreciate all the fans who’ve supported it. While it’s bittersweet to say farewell, we can’t wait to see what the future holds and what asmodee has in store for the Elder Ones.

This suggests an excellent game lives on, and I actually will get my pledge, so I am generally happy. That said Asmodee is still a vile company and more industry consolidation will come back to haunt us one day.

CMON are looking to sell 361.2m shares which would equate to a 16.67% share holding for S$6.5m which if all sold should net S$6.3m (USD$4.85m) after expenses which is to be used as working capital.
Also of interest this would drop Ng Chern Ann, David Doust and Frederick Chua Oon Kian combined holding below 50% and would potentially put 57% of the company under outside ownership.

They do have a long track record of producing some of the biggest and most popular games in the space, but it isn’t clear if the Magic Sauce was the leadership (good to invest because they can do it all again by pulling together and channeling creatives into something greater than sum of parts), or just a lucky pick of great creatives who created new and interesting games with huge popularity (bad to invest in CMON , as the magic sauce will just get brought into other companies)

I think they're going to struggle unless they come up with manufacturing options outside of China. Tariffs, rising production and transport costs, and general kickstarter fatigue have put a crimp on their business model.

Buying their stock en masse sounds more risking than going all in for the top tier on their next kickstarter...

I'd given up on Kickstarters long ago but even if I hadn't I'd have dropped them like a stone this year - just no way to what it's actually gonna cost you in the end anymore.

For UK gamers there are some ASOIAF units going cheap (£7-8) here:

I can’t vouch for the site at all - is it something to with House of Fraser? - or whether the sets are any good but I thought someone here might find it helpful ?

It's a legit store so product will be fulfilled. I think it was bought out by the dreaded Sports Direct, so treats its staff like garbage. I'm really surprised they have wargaming stuff but I think they've got form for buying cheap wholesale stuff to sell off at a 'discount'.

Not that I've been looking particularly hard, but I've yet to see gamers care about CMON closing down. Dakka's Dark Ages players are the only ones, and they certainly haven't even supported by CMON since their name change!

I think it's more that they also absorbed Game, which had experimented with stocking tabletop stuff.

I care about CMON closing down. Their games make up basically all my top games. (ASOIAF, Death May Die, Blood Rage, Project Elite, Zombicide Invader, Zombicide Undead or Alive)
ASOIAF the tabletop game is seriously such a great game. And CMON still has the license, and the developer is working on updates actively (posting little snippets on Facebook), so I have great hope!

Yeah, I think the ASOIAF game going down will hit a lot of players as it got quite a following not only for fans of the IP but also because it's a very good game.

Thankfully that seems to be the one property they haven’t sold yet and their developer is actively posting about it still!

Plus they are reliant on Dark Sword Miniatures for the actual rights to make ASOIAF miniatures under licence so there's probably limited value in what they could get out of any sale.
I also see that they had to get permission from the minority shareholders for the share sale and they are listed as Cangsome Limited,
Dakkon Holdings Limited and Quantum Asset Management Pte. Ltd., (which are collectively beneficially interested in an aggregate of 888,737,695 Shares, which represents approximately 49.21% of issued Shares as at the date of the Announcement.) These companies appear to link to each other and several of the CMON shareholders so they don't appear to be independent shareholdings in effect most of the shareholding is controlled one way or another by the same few people.
