It's already in court. But atm they're enforcing it, and seizing Union property that they couldn't get out the door fast enough.

Other than the crackdown of "official union time", I have not heard anything about kicking unions out of building and stealing their stuff.
I would guess that it would at least make a mention on CNN.

Well, today I ended up with a whole bag of AFGE swag as they dumped out cabinets and lockers at my workplace.
In the fine print of the EO that cracks down on 'official union time' the fine print also kicks unions out of the building,

I wonder if there is an executive in your building that is trying to out-Trump Trump. Are they actually removing their official space, or are they "simply" removing stuff people wear/carry because someone is arguing that carrying your AFGE coffee mug = advertising the AFGE on official duty time?
There has been a ton of coverage about official union time, but zero coverage about unions getting kicked out of buildings. I have not heard anything about that happening in our building, nor in our sister facility or my old federal job prior to my current posting.
If this was a (non-isolated) thing, I would imagine there would be at least some coverage.
Automatically Appended Next Post: So the only thing in the EO I could find is this:
(iii) No employee, when acting on behalf of a Federal labor organization, may be permitted the free or discounted use of government property or any other agency resources if such free or discounted use is not generally available for non-agency business by employees when acting on behalf of non-Federal organizations. Such property and resources include office or meeting space, reserved parking spaces, phones, computers, and computer systems.
I doubt that any agency is going to have the removal hold up in court, because every agency I have worked for has spaces that could be used by anyone.

Well, it's happening at Wilkes barre too, and they have a lot more office there than the desk, two cabinets, and a locker that they had with us. And, I'm not overly surprised. Putting almost a thousand people in jail without trial (and some despite trial) has barely registered amid all the smoke and mirrors atm.

A symbolic pick at best. After all, according to Trump's party it is not right to confirm a justice in an election year, we need to let the voters have a say. Trump can now say that he has done his duty to name a pick, and then we can all set it aside and come back next year. We know the republican party certainly wouldn't be a bunch of hypocrites and promptly reverse their policy as soon as it benefits them to do so, as they are honest and of the highest moral character.

Well, we predicted that Trump's visit to the UK and Europe would be a diplomatic minefield, and as sure as I have a hole in my rear, he's been true to form with his tweets.
He's told the Europeans to start spending more on defence or else. He thinks talking to Putin will be the easiet part, and now he's just upset the UK Prime Minister by talking about his good friend Boris Johnson, whilst completely ignoring her.
For American dakka members who don't know, Johnson resigned yesterday as Foreign Secretary, and had some bitter words to say in his resignation letter to the Prime Minister.
He described the PM's Brexit strategy as polishing gak and offering it to the British public as a good deal.
To be a fly on the wall when Trump and our PM meet...

Given the shambles that is British politics, we're making Trump look like FDR in comparison...
No offence to Americans, but our 'house' is on fire, and now we have a guy turning up who wants to hold a rock concert and shout insults at our nearest neighbours. The same neighbours we're negotiating with about the fire...
Talk about bad timing...
And to make matters worse, he's spending most of his time up here in Scotland, and my tax money has to foot the bill for security
I yearn for the days of GW Bush...

Correct, they indeed distanced themselves from the Bundy vigilantism.
They were convicted of arson on federal land, nothing related to the Bundy thing until after the fact.
